Horrible app

Try to search up for an item and sends me to the website, whats the point of the stupid app then.

New update is horrible

If I wanted to use the web browser I would have not downloaded this app. It’s worse now and you replying trying to make it smoother actually makes it 100x worse. I literally have to close out 20 browsers tabs when I’m done cause it doesn’t even use the same tab. Will be deleting app after posting this.

We hear you! If it’s not too late for you, we upgraded the interface of the app in version 2.0 and re-enabled the in-browser function. I think you’ll like this update. Zack (let us know at support@hobbydb.com Sorry to hear you don't like the update! We felt the experience would be more stable if the browser was using the native mobile browser and not an in-app browser which was causing some issues for users. The main purpose of the app is for barcode and UPC scanning... all editing and curating always occurred in a browser. Horrible update

What is the point of having an app for hobbyDB if whenever we are to use any feature on the APP it auto directs to Safari. When you are In the safari browser and scan an item it makes you open The APP just to redirect to you the webpage again. In other words, each time I check an item I have to open another safari tab. HobbyDB is a great platform but this is a very obvious system overlook

Zack (let us know at support@hobbydb.com Yes, the new browser tabs each scan was an unintended bug. We are hard at work on a fix and should have one released this week. Thanks for your patience

Newest Update

I’d give it zero stars if I could and I wish I could go back in time to 10 minutes ago and not download the update. The point of having the app is so I don’t have to go into safari. Now using the app just opens safari in a whole new tab rather than as a window inside the app. Will likely delete the app now since there’s no point in having it if it’s just gonna take me to safari.

Website is down!

I have tried signing up and it said that the username and password don’t match y’all’s database. I am so upset and frustrated. I have done this like several times.
