  • Gardening Made Easy

I’m loving this app. Such a convenient way to flex your green thumb while filling your fridge with self-farmed veggies! I found my favorite new gardening app! The ability to create a calendar for planting and harvesting based on your area is awesome, and definitely makes cultivating 10% of the vegetables you eat more attainable - even if you don’t live in a rural area! 🥒🥕👩🏻‍🌾

  • So helpful and fun!

This is amazing. I am a kind of person who can’t even handle a low maintenance indoor plant. But this app helped a lot. I wish I can show everyone all the veggies I grew. The curse has been lifted.
  • So helpful!

I absolutely love this app! It’s been so helpful for my partner and I. We started a garden recently and have very little knowledge on the subject. The app was super easy to use and gave us tons of tips. We didn’t have to go around doing a bunch of research on when to plant and water, we just let the notifications tell us what to do. I really love that they also offer set garden guides so you don’t have to think about all the possible veggies. They just choose for you. All in all, I would highly recommend. We are already seeing great results in our garden!

  • Gardner in my Pocket

This app would be very useful. I always needed a “Gardner in my Pocket” who could give me advice as to when to grow different types of plants in my backyard and how to take care of them, especially those that could be used for food. I like the idea of being able to produce my own food and this app goes a long way in helping people to do that.

  • Polished and useful app

I’ve been on the market for a planning app and found this through a friend. After having used a paper calendar, this one has been a huge leg up. There are some minor issues which I expect will get worked out but I was able to get started and done in a about 30 mins. Most of that time was spent transferring dates from the paper calendar or the plant markers into the app. Once I was done, it gave me a nice planting/harvest chart that’s intuitive. I now know that I can expect to harvest my first tomato’s in 2 weeks! There are hidden gems like goal setting (10% Grow Your Own) that has potential, and the garden guides are a delight. Cute illustrations, uncluttered and free.

  • For every gardener out there!

This app was just what I was looking for! We have a sizable garden and keeping track of everything was difficult. FarmUrYard takes the guess work out of your gardening, letting you focus on enjoying the fruits of your labor. I love that it’s customizable to zip code which give you your hardiness zone. I also love that time to plant is then customized to that zone.

The selection of plants is also quite extensive and the app has a lot of little details to help you understand what the plants need.

This is a great app and one that I’ll be using for a while!

  • Perfect for novice and experienced gardners

This app is so great for helping me know when to plant veggies during the year. I love the simplicity of the design, the explanations of all the plants and the flexibility of creating my own custom garden. We don’t have a lot of space so it’s so great knowing what will fit, and types of plants that can grow well together. And I love knowing when to plant and harvest. Two green thumbs up for this app.
