Works Well But No Implied Discount
The app works well and makes me more aware of my driving. However the app also incentivizes you to drive through yellow lights rather than stop quickly so I think it’s neutral on making me a safer driver.
The big negative is that my insurance company said I would get a discount for using the app and an additional discount if I was rated a safe driver. Well I am in the top 10% of drivers with a 99% score and my insurance company just notified me that I do not qualify for a discount of any kind. False advertising I believefranknjga

Allow for stupid small town speed limits
I live in a small town and the speed limit going in and out of town is 15 mph lower than anyone drives. It has been that way for years. So I always get tagged for speeding there but rarely on roads where the limit is reasonableSteve from Jasper

If your insurance company asks you to get this, don’t. Will track my crappy Uber rides or family driving like it’s me? Also not even accurate when it’s me driving. Says it won’t impact your policy but after using for a year it does in the renewal which is scammy (which I acknowledge is fault of both the app AND insurance company).stensy26
