Our family got this app when our teen began driving and we turned it into a friendly competition amongst us. I have rarely gotten tickets or wrecks but often was a fast, tight-cornering, multitasking driver when we were late or distracted in the busy-ness of our family life. So my family was shocked to find that I had the best score bc I had begun paying more attention to speed zones, locking my phone/using hands free options (which I had not previously bothered to learn) and accelerate and brake more gradually. I’m thankful the discount on insurance rates has encouraged us all to go from good drivers to better drivers with less car wear and tear and lowered risk potential.Tterrabab

Early problem.
One complaint early on . It claimed I used my phone while driving. I NEVER use my phone while driving. Too, I have a $600.00-ish dash cam recorder system to back me up on that.

Driving App
Although I try and stay within the speed limit , one tends to move with the traffic flow. This might be a few miles over the speed limit.
Braking at stop lights of a sudden stop by the car I am following can be an issue. Not sure what is considered safe braking on the app.
Also a problem with using my phone for directions. The app will say I am distracted but I am listening to directions. Not a good review on the app.silverjaguar48

Best Practices
I appreciate the ride well app. I try to be an aware and careful driver. The app highlights areas where even a continuous driver can improve. I want to be a safe driver for my safety, the safety of my passengers and other drivers on the road. Better practices also reduce wear and tear on my vehicle and economize fuel.MPAUG2023
Drains Phone Battery Fast
On my drive to the airport this app was running the whole time even though I was just riding and arrived at the airport with 60% battery even though my phone never left my pocket. If you use this app you need to be very careful and be mindful of it running in the background, constantly.Allow for stupid small town speed limits
I live in a small town and the speed limit going in and out of town is 15 mph lower than anyone drives. It has been that way for years. So I always get tagged for speeding there but rarely on roads where the limit is reasonableSteve from Jasper
