As long as there’s no privacy concerns, which is a bit iffy — but, given the nature of data in my Syncthing, I don’t mind as much — this app solves a whole host of problems with the lack of iOS sync.Spondr

Excellent Having Syncthing here
I’ve been hoping for this for awhile and it’s great to see it finally arrive! I look forward to the e2ee later once it becomes more stable. Really appreciate the reasonable price and lack of analytics/trackers.
Background sync isn’t the best. Maybe they could use location to trigger sync as well like Nextcloud does for photo/video background syncing.Show lessfellowFromMilwaukee

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll hopefully release E2EE shortly for “testing”. Location based triggering is one of the ideas for improving background sync, but we’re a bit wary of the perceived privacy concerns around the app requesting location access.Finally - Syncthing for iPhone

Waiting for ability of photo and othet apps files to be synced.
Looks promising. For my needs I'd need features that hopefully can be added in future like photos sync and sync files of other apps eg. hi-res music files for Onkyo player (or other capable player).Tomasz232
Missing a key feature for mobile
This is a pretty solid GUI for Syncthing. I’m still experimenting, but there is one key feature that appears to be missing — *especially* important for mobile devices.
I need the ability to selectively sync. I want to see a listing of everything that’s in a given shared directory, but don’t actually download it to my phone unless I say so.
This is available in Resilio Sync, which is the main app I’m considering other than Syncthing. In Resilio I have a synced folder on my home computer that has almost a Terabyte of stuff. On my phone I can browse all of it, and if I want a particular file I tap to download that file to my phone.
Unless I’m missing a setting somewhere, Mobius and Syncthing doesn’t have anything like this. I either download it to my phone or it’s not linked at all. No in between.Show lessStee-rider
Excellent but there is a new bug
You now how the ability to have this app sync in the background with the most recent update. Not sure if my previous review was that impactful, but content to see it happen.
UPDATE
.stfolder cannot be synchronized and is throwing a “name is invalid, must not start with period on iOS” exception. This is standard for all syncthing directories & confirmed on two iOS devices.Show lessJudged!

Thanks for your feedback. Apple iOS limits background processing more than Android to preserve battery. MöbiusSync 1.2 will optimize background behaviour but it can never run as a daemon on iOS. The FAQ on our website talks more about this.Awesome
