Overburdening
1. The app hammers in notifications even at night when the person is sleeping which is bad for someone that is on call because the only option is turning off devices to stop it.
2. This is incredibly overburdening for managing fatigue- the systems should be getting simpler, not more complex
3. A large time waster which connects to point 2.
If you are a company trying to find or work out a good fatigue system, this is not the one for you.
Response from developer
Thankyou for your feedback. The goal of FatigueTech is to automate the implementation, monitoring and compliance of a Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) to reduce the risk of a fatigue-related incident and ultimately keep people healthy, happy and safe whilst at work. During the implementation phase of FatigueTech there is often a need to adjust the notification criteria required to suit the business context, which has now been completed in your business. We can now report that with the implementation of FatigueTech nine months ago FatigueTech has • Automated the implementation of Work Hour Guidelines, Journey Management requirements, Fatigue Checks and StartFit Checks. • Supervisors and senior leaders can now monitoring work hour guidelines for compliance, which has resulted in a 34% reduction in work hour breaches. • Provided a clearer picture of resourcing requirements, whilst keeping the workforce at lower risk of a fatigue-related accident and ultimately safer. • Led to insights and further questions of how the App can be broadened to enable front line leaders to better schedule workforce in response to emergency. We do expect that with ongoing monitoring of fatigue risk in the business and further feedback, FatigueTech and the FRMS continue to improve and serve its purpose of mitigating fatigue risk, and keep people healthy, happy and safe.
