  • WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR

Literally I’ve been wanting to have an app we’re i could just put how many protein I ate in a day so I don’t forget and I can automatically put it once I eat it!!
  • Seems like a good app, but ~$25 a year is laughable

I wanted a simple protein tracker app, I don’t care about full macros yet, just protein. I was hoping for an app that I could easily add my intake but having a few set ingredients I use daily. The free version has access to One “group” that I used for my morning protein shake, and that’s it. I have to subscribe to add more “groups”, and can only add three “favorites” for easy adding. The “free” version’s functionality is of little use because so much is behind an overpriced pay wall.

I would pay $10 yearly just for the convenience, but when other apps offer more functionality and similar ease of use, I can’t justify paying that much for this app, which others (who I agree with) have stated should probably just be a “pay once” premium app, or cheaper at the very least.

To the developer: Maybe add a “Basic” tier that allows for unlimited favorites and groups for $5 or something. That way people can use your app for the simplicity and the basics, but also get more in depth info on their intake.

Hello thank you for your feedback - I can't agree that a few dollars a month is expensive - you can search for protein content in food, see detailed stats and charts, save groups of protein, save and sort favourite proteins, see a calendar view with your progress across the months amongst many more features. All these features require development effort and I work hard to keep the app up to date and respond the feature requests from customers. As a result I ask for less than a coffee a month which will also pay for the service that is used to look up the protein amount in foods and ensure continued development. When I priced the app lower people complained it was not free. You may see a few reviews asking for a low one time payment but it is not sustainable for an independent developer like myself who needs to feed their family. What you do not see are the thank you emails and many happy customers who don't have an issue paying a few dollars for an app they find useful. If you can find an app that costs $10/year that suits your needs then that may be more suitable for you.
  • Fantastic!!

I’m enjoying using this protein tracker app. I’ve tried others but they were more than involved than what I needed or wanted. I wanted something simple, a plug and play app, to track my protein intake. The yearly subscription fee is well worth the money. You can also pay monthly.

    Thank you!
  • Simple and fantastic!

I started using this app a couple weeks ago, and I signed up for the yearly subscription a few days ago. It’s so simple and quick! Every other macro tracker is so danged complicated. To add an entry, just type a name and the amount of protein in grams, and done. No “type in a boatload of ingredients” or “look up somebody else’s not quite right recipe”. Totally worth the download.

  • I need directions on how to use this app.

I want to divide meals into breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. I can’t figure out how. Help!!
  • Great app!

Does what is says it’s gonna do! I do wish that you didn’t have to pay in order to access some features. But, if all you want to do is make sure your getting enough protein every day, this is a great app!
  • Day 1

So far so good. Still day 1.
  • Great

Very simple and no glitches I’ve been using it for a few months on and off. If you’re just looking to track protein I highly recommend
  • Don’t get. Subscription based

For a simple protein tracker that is basically a spreadsheet style concept this definitely should not be a subscription. This app should only be $5. It’s a basic calculator app.

Hello the app is a few dollars a month to ensure that it is frequently updated and improved. It offers way more than a spreadsheet (charts, changeable daily targets, reminders, stats, sortable favorites, groups, recommended amount calculator, portion calculator, widgets, different display modes etc) with more to come. This takes a lot of work. The free version of the app provides the basic daily addition you are talking about. Many thanks.
  • Clean Simple App that does exactly what I want

I’ve been using this for a few days and it’s exactly what I needed.

I don’t want all the complexity and fancy features that the other food logging apps contain.
