  • Just about Love it.

This is a great app as sometimes the calorie tracking can be chaos. This APP really helps keeping an eye on the protein that is vital for muscle growth and recovery.

Would really love to have a Apple Watch app with a complication for quick logging.

Thank you so much for creating this app.
  • Eh

The app really just does math for you as far as i can tell. I wanted something that calculates the protein in a given item but that’s not the case. I find myself googling to find out how much protein is in something and then flipping back to the app and inputting it. You really could just use your calculator. Maybe they’ll upgrade it ?

    Developer Response

Hello, thank you for your review. James here, the sole developer of the app. You are correct that the app does not as of yet allow you to search for the item and get the protein amount. I'm investigating how to add this to the app. As for now you can see the protein content on the nutrition label. The app will allow you to save your favorite items and build up groups of protein so you do not need to enter/look up the protein information more than once unless your diet changes. There are more features that separate this out from a calculator besides the favorites/groups - you can see all your stats including average protein intake, graphical views of the last 7d, 30d, 90d and 1yr of your protein intake vs your protein target, the % you are hitting your target and the most common protein you are consuming. You are able to set daily targets and a default target to fine tune your goals and there's a handy calculator to figure out what your target should be. There's also a helper that will determine protein amount in your portion size and more. Please keep an eye out for future updates and consider changing your review if you find the app more useful. James.
  • Pretty good

    Dose exactly what it says
  • Pointless unless you purchase premium

You can only track three entries per day unless you purchase on upgrade. So it’s not usable unless you want to spend money
  • 1 star is too many stars

If you don’t pay for the premium then you’re only allowed to add 3 proteins to your chart and then you have to pay for premium. It makes no sense. It’s completely useless without paying the price as I’d imagine its just as useless if you did waste your money on it.
  • Stupid waste of time

Can’t get past the first screen. Total waste of time
  • barely tracks protein then asks for 8 dollars

does the bare minimum of tracking your protein (gave me 3 entries) and anything more i would have to pay for. sham app, just use the notes on your phone. probably easier too.
  • Trash

If you’re trying to build muscle and need to keep track of your protein intake this app is garbage and not the one for you. It only allows you to put in a certain number of items until it tries to money grab and make u pay for unlimited inputs. Why would i only eat three things. Who is going to pay 7.99 to be able to write down what they ate and the amount of protein it had in it on an app that could be replaced with apple notes.

  • Need to add scanning

Wish we could items instead of having to manually input them. Otherwise I like the app
  • Not free

i added 3 items in and then it made me pay for the rest. Complete waste of time unless you are willing to pay way to much to just track a simple thing
