  • Could Use An Update…

While I enjoy the clean and user-friendly design of the app, there are a few issues with displaying incorrect information when adding a color by Hex Code on both the main page under "Palette" and the "Search" page. For example, in "Palette," I would enter the Hex Color #00647D, and the result would show #00647C when I exit the color selection screen. On the "Search" page, I entered the same #00647D (R: 0, G: 100, B: 125), but the result would incorrectly show (R: 0, G: 99, B: 125), which corresponds to the Hex Color #00637D. I tested this issue with multiple colors, and it persisted on both pages.

Additionally, there's no "Settings" page within the app to customize preferences, such as choosing Color Profiles or contacting the developer for support. The last update was three years ago, so perhaps an update to the app could resolve these issues. However, with no "Settings" page providing ways to contact the developer, it seems this is one of those apps that you have to take "As Is”.
  • Great App Needs A Few Bugs Fixed

I been enjoying the app ever since I came across an indie developer retweeting something about it. I went on a limb and decided to download it to support another indie developer and also I think the feature set is nice for what the app is intended to deliver on.

I would say that the app seems to crash when importing pictures to pull the colors from it. It worked for the first couple pictures and then I ran into an issue where it would kick me back to the home screen. I would also like to see for the live color selector when using the camera, when the app decides what color it is looking at, it locks to that. Then when you go into the secondary screen the app suggests all the colors close to the one the camera picked up when looking at the scene.

Otherwise the app is new and fresh and fixes the issues I had with my other color picker. This app deserves a download and try by creators or even people that are looking for creating palettes for home projects, etc. Looking forward to future updates. Great work by the dev.

I would also love to see a Mac version of this app.

    Developer Response

First, thank you for the great feedback, downloading my app and for supporting me. I've logged down the bugs you've reported and will have them resolved in either update 1.1.2 or 1.1.3. As for the title contrast when creating a new folder, if you can DM me on twitter a screenshot of what you are seeing, I'll have a closer look at it. Regarding the macOS app, that is in the pipeline to be in version 1.2.
