Super weird
This app is very confusing doesn’t get into detail like for example do I put it near the camera? If so how long do I hold it for and what do I do if it doesn’t scan it had no problems but just doesn’t do anything doesn’t even work wasted my time barely any comments. What the creators are saying to these commenters isn’t even sounding helpful so far useless product wasted my time and effort for trynna use itShow lessdontworryaboutmynameweirdo

Please carefully review the instructions provided with the product you are trying to verify. Note that the Genuiniti app will only work with packaging that's equipped with wireless tags compatible with Genuiniti's platform. If the manufacturer of the product you are trying to verify has indicated that their packaging is verifiable using Genuiniti but the product in your possession doesn't get detected by the app despite scanning the area designated by the product's manufacturer, it is possible that you have a counterfeit product. To verify a product's authenticity, launch the Genuiniti app and tap the "Verify" button. When prompted, scan the area designated by the manufacturer of the product you wish to verify by bringing it very close to the top rear area of your smartphone as shown in the demo video at https://youtu.be/4DVkSyRJ0IY. The results of the verification process shall appear on your phone's screen.App doesn’t even work...

Unclear instructions — doesn’t work
I downloaded the app and it says “Hold top rear of phone very close to the product’s tag-equipped area.” No camera popped up on my phone, just a moving image of a phone that appears to be face-up. I tried scanning and nothing happens. The UI/UX of this app isn’t very good, but almost is. It didn’t work for me and nothing scanned, and while I realize it *might* be a bad product, the app would still be better off with a camera that opens so you know you’re actually scanning the darn QR code.Show lesscrysjolley
