Terrible
App for a scale demands full access to your photo library and camera or you can’t use it at all.

Great scale , decent App
If the app allowed you to select SBMI (smart BMI)data for comparison it would be great.
Screen timeout
Being timed out is getting annoying.
This app needs the option for adjusting or disabling the screen timeout or screen lock, instead of an obligation to increase the auto-lock time settings against safety measures.

Does not connect to scale no matter what I do
Horrible app doesn’t even work
Email sound when using
Anyone know why I hear the email sent sound when using the app?
Useful scale for analysing composition but some anomalies
I am finding the scales useful for distinguishing between fat weight and muscle and insight into my visceral fat. My big gripe is that despite scoring well within the standard range for every parameter and better than standard for bone mass, I’ve been assigned a metabolic age higher than my actual age. In comparison my partner who is scoring in the orange zone for BMI, body fat and in the very high zone for visceral fat has been assigned a metabolic age that is the same as his actual age. I’m a post menopausal female so carrying extra body fat isn’t abnormal but I’m a very healthy 22.3 BMI and 19.9% subcut fat so would expect my metabolic age to be the same as my actual age or better as I’m hitting the leaner side of standard. I’d like to see more information provided on the assumptions made in the scoring algorithm. Is this based on a population that tend to be smaller and leaner genetically than say European/North American genetic types?
I sent an enquiry using the in app feedback and never had a reply.

Irresponsible weight/BMI markers
I’m trying to gain weight after a prolonged illness and got this scale mostly to check muscle mass and keep an easy record for my doctor. Firstly, inputting a goal weight isn’t optional when creating a profile, but even if you list goal weight as higher the app is still coded as if you’re doing something wrong if you’re not losing weight.
It labels BMI under 18.5, listed as unhealthy by any sensible medicine, as “lean” colored yellow, and anything above standard is “high” or “extremely high” in orange/red. Regardless of goal weight, it always lists weight gain with a red arrow and weight loss with a green arrow, which may seem inconsequential to most but if you struggle with body image that subtleness is damaging when humans subconsciously give positive or negative meaning to things like that.
The Bluetooth itself takes some work to set up but is seamless once you get going. You should calibrate the scale before each use with the app open—I do this by stepping on the middle of the scale with one foot, then removing it when the screen turns on. Once it reads 0.0 and turns off again, stepping on it should record the info in the app. On first use after pairing in the app, I had to press on each figure I wanted recorded besides weight; it took some fiddling here but after that first reading it now it measures everything automatically with weight in seconds.

Privacy Law Breach
This app forces you to grant access to data it does not need (e.g. all pictures). When you first open the app, it will say it’s optional, but you cannot skip the step or decline granting full access. The only way to use this app is to give full authorization. Once your account is set up, you are not able to find a way within the app the remove unnecessary access to data you do not want linked.
This is a serious breach of data privacy laws in the area I live in.
