Will not work unless connected to display
I do not understand why the app only functions with the upgraded display. I see no reason that the app cannot track rides without being connected? The app is useless for meMark asdfghjklmnbvcxz
Unstable for tracking rides and just generally buggy
The app looks good and connects to the bike consistently, but the tracking of rides feature has crash 3 times in the past week. I also noticed that the leaderboard is somehow not in sync with the current days rides. Occasionally when I am in the app in settings, additional features appear, like setting the pow for each pedal assist level. I tried to modify the setting but they wouldn’t save. No consistency as to when these features appear or not. Overall the app is a big disappointment, given the hype it gets when you purchase the bike. The bike (soltera) is great but the app is not ready for public use. I see from other responses from the developers that their team is small, but that means nothing to me when I spent $1300 for a bike AND an app. Way too must hype around this app on the website for it to be of such poor quality. Please fix it.

UPDATE: The app is now terrific, all problems fixed
I previously gave the app a 3-star rating, citing several problems that have now been fixed. Version 1.0.8 remedies the incorrect ride date and flaky ride tracking issues. Tracking doesn’t work
Gave it 2 stars because it does connect to the display and access settings. The tracking and recording of rides just doesn’t work. It looks like they fixed the wrong date issue, but the one ride it did track with a route map is now gone. Completely random if it will record with track or without. Not really worth trying to use this since it’s so unreliable. Drains your phone pretty fast too.Bzyflyr

Went for my longest ride today. Started my trip as normal but when I got back the app had logged me out. I signed back in and all my trip data had been wiped out. This app is useless!RepentedHipster

Reports trip of 15 miles, CORRECT. Trip duration 45 minutes, CORRECT. Average speed 20mph, CORRECT.

Consistently records a very small portion of my ride. For example, I may ride 20 miles but it only records 3 or 4…even after refreshing and checking days afterward…when I first started using the app it worked properly but very soon afterwards began to only record portions …I check for updated version on the app and it says it’s not available in my region..what?jackolony
Bike riders unite
I love how this app allows me to track my rides and most of all see what else the aventon community is doing and where they are adventuring. It inspires me to get out to new places on my bike!jaclnrae3
