  • Account required

The first thing this app does is ask to create an account for a product you’ve already purchased. Sorry Spirit, you don’t get any more data from me; I’ll just push buttons on the treadmill.
  • Everything works for except the app saving workouts.
  • Unable to start new workout

Every workout is a continuation of the previous workout. Every time I try to email customer support, it says my email is blocked.
  • Why does this app exist?!

I read the negative reviews about this app before purchasing a Spirit XT385 treadmill this past week but I trusted my gut that everything would work as expected. I was wrong and the negative reviews were right.

No problem connecting the treadmill to the app via Bluetooth. The issue is, after my first week of workout nothing has been recorded to the app. The app shows my treadmill connected but that’s about it.

This makes me wonder why then with all these complaints about the app why Spirit refuses to fix it. Their treadmills are excellent — among the best rated out there — but they support it with an app that is non-functional and has been complained about for years without Spirit addressing the issues. This is not a good reflection on a company that wants to proudly compete in a market that embraces dependable app interaction.

Fix the issues! I want to use the app that was promised to work
  • No technical support

I have emailed with my question a month ago, no answer. I am connected to my bike through Bluetooth, I put my serial number in, I cannot connect to classes. I can join the class without being connected to the bike. What’s the point? I want to connect to save my work out data. The way I understand, I own a Spirit bike, a subscription comes with that, I should not have to pay to join classes.
  • Faulty

The app doesn’t transfer the workout effectively and I’m unable to access history of my workouts. Not an effective app!
  • Multiple workouts recorded.

Each time I use the app I get the same workout recorded multiple times. I am unable to delete any workouts.
  • Better than first app

My biggest complaint about both apps by this developer to track workouts is that you have to download and end the workout or snap a picture or figure out how to get the data to sync to Apple Health before your workout session ends because as soon as the program finishes and the data on the display disappears you can’t retrieve it. There’s no going back. It’s very frustrating.

I would also like to see steps on the display screen on the app since steps are tracked in many fitness trackers, including Apple Health.
  • This app is a sick joke

Have to restart this craplication often. It routinely gives ‘No network’ errors and cannot view history most of the time. It does not reliably send workout data to Apple Fitness, and sometimes takes a day or more to register a workout.

Tried logging out and and back in, but password not working now. Tried resetting password but it NEVER sends the email.

Deleting this waste of space from my phone.

    Fire the developers!

We were able to connect via Bluetooth to our Spirit XT285 treadmill with no issues. However, the incline levels don’t change according to your incline level or at all for that matter. The only reading that appears to be accurate is mph, time and heart rate. You can not physically change any treadmill settings from the app so if that is something that you are looking for…maybe this app isn’t for you. If this app functioned and at least accurately depicted the information on my treadmill, I would probably give it a 5 star rating. Hopefully this issue is being addressed because if not, it is pretty useless for tracking and sharing info with Apple Health App therefore my wife and I will be deleting in the near future.
