Mi-Trial is a clinical trial companion app, designed to improve the experience of participants in studies. The apps features currently include: Personal Study Plan - your personalised schedule of all trial visits, set up by your trial organisation. Mi-Trial allows these to be configured with specific instructions, which have associated reminders which can be delivered both in-app and via push notification (if enabled). You can sync your Personal Study Plan with popular calendars such as Google, Microsoft or Apple Calendars. Documents - You can download and view any important, trial-related documents via the app. These include but are not exclusive to Consent Forms, Participant Information Sheets (PIS) and other important resources such as directions to facilities. Events Diary - a locally stored, private diary of experiences you wish to note or feel are important to you or your trial organisation. Document your symptoms, medications or other notes, and share these at a trial visit as you need or wish. FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions, as configured by your trial organisation. These may be general FAQs such as smoking or COVID policies, or more bespoke and relating to your particular study. Notifications - in-app feature for users who do not wish, or are unable, to receive push-notifications. The Notifications feature in the app is a record of all (and, separately, Unread) notifications. These include: new appointments, appointment changes, instructions and timed reminders. For example, fasting 8 hours before an appointment. You may also opt to receive push notifications which can be useful in reminding you of important instructions ahead of study visits.
