Better than a web browser, but not a good app
This product can barely be called an app. It is a web browser without some of the junk the web brings.
I view the paper in landscape and am continually fighting the app to get the content I am reading to the position and zoom level I want and need.
I tend to leave my finger on the screen and am continuously canceling the popup window that appears with function I do not want or need and that could easily be opened by tapping one of the app control icons that already exist.
I will stop reading to deal with something else and come back to pick up where I left off and the app doesn’t even remember where I was when I stopped. The iPad is a computer with memory, this should be easy.
I travel and when I am on the road I am not able to read the paper unless I have an active internet connection. Again, our digital devices are computers, why we can’t download the content when we have a connection and then view it while we are not connected is beyond me.
I know that The Denver Gazette wants to create one app for all platforms not just iPads but this app could still be so much better. It is a shame that that businesses aren’t able or willing to provide decent interfaces for their users to use to access services.

Great Read
I have only been reading the Gazette for two weeks, but already I am hooked on it. The format is well organized and not cluttered with excess advertisements. The writing allows one to get the grasp of the story from the well written titles and first several paragraphs.
Thanks for enlightening my days.

New app
The new Denver Gazette software is really wonkie. It looks nothing like a newspaper. Navigation is poor to difficult. Unfortunately, I renewed my subscription just prior to the “update” or I would have canceled my subscription. Needs a lot of improvements to keep me as a customer.
Bring back the old app!
As others have mentioned, this new app is terrible compared to the old one. Please bring it back. Unfortunately I can no longer log into the old version so I’m stuck with this new version. Love the paper and it’s content but hate the new app.
Displeased with new format
As a senior, I find the new format difficult to read and navigate. The old format was much easier to read and navigate. I also find that I am required to sign in each time I want to read the online version. This is unacceptable for me as it makes it difficult to read. I’m considering canceling my subscription.

A step backward
This latest DG app is a major step back. The e-edition reader is gone. When that is selected the app merely redirects to the Safari view. All the smooth app reading, scrolling, zooming is now gone. This needs to be fixed. Bring back the old app. Paper readers should improve, not take steps backward.

Changed the app for worse
The latest version of the app deleted the ear phone icon on the bottom of the first page of the app. The old version would let you click on an article, and then on the your ear phone icon, and it would read the article to you at the speed you selected, and continue to read the subsequent articles in the same chosen speed. This made it convenient to listen to the paper while you were driving, working out, or multi tasking.
The latest version eliminated most of the features described and is not user friendly. The latest version is several years behind the version that was deleted. It is a big step backward

New App - A bust
New app is terribly cumbersome! Very much preferred the original.
Terrible New App
I have been reading the Gazette on my iPad for the past several years and have never had a problem. Last week I was prompted to install the new app. Since then I have been unable to sign in, and only the first four pages of each edition appear on my iPad.
Over the last week I have had numerous email exchanges with tech support, but they have been useless. I’d really hate to cancel my subscription but I may have to.

Better news source
Love the Contant, but the latest revision to the app is horrible. For some unexplainable reason, the app no longer opens the paper, but instead takes you to the online edition. The app is easier to read and get through than the online edition. Please fix it.
