Duplicate Articles

I read the e version daily. I cant figure out why articles are repeated many times. Same headline. Same copy. I have to scroll by these repeat articles over and over and over. I can’t imagine why they do this

E Edition App No Longer Available!

Since the ‘upgrade’ two days ago I can no longer access this app. I can not find it in the App Store either just the ‘On Line’ App which is totally different than the E Edition App.

Gazette tech support said the apps have never been in the App Store? They instructed me to go to the Gazette website and log Out, login, Click on E Edition, the click on E Edition App download icon. That icon takes you to the App Store where only the On-Line app is available. I still have the E Edition app on my iPhone but is to hard to read on the small screen compared to the iPad.

Frustrating as Tech support closes at 4:00pm and you can’t even leave a call back request. Not happy. If I’m unable to resolve will cancel.

Great alternative or complement to the Post

The Gazette offers balance to the coverage in the more established Post. The coverage of Denver City Council politics is excellent. The sports section includes coverage of late games that the Post can’t cover. The national columnists are excellent. And the Gazette is substantially cheaper than the digital-only version of the Post.

No warning

There was no warning that the app that I previously used to download and read like a newspaper was going to no longer function. Using this ‘online’ app is frustrating. Every time I turn the page I have to resize it to read the article. If I am not able to fix this issue I will have no other recourse but to end my subscription.

Denver Gazette is Missing a Chance to Be Invaluable

The Denver Gazette exists only as an alternative to the left leaning Denver Post. If it parrots most of the same story lines from AP and Reuters, it is indistinguishable and therefore unnecessary. There is a great void for independent thinking and this exists in small measure in the Gazette. I enjoy the work of Jon Caldera and others on the editorial page. In general, I find selection of news stories biased in support of big government and corporate media. Please consider how to find the soul of independent, freedom loving reporting. It is desperately needed in this world of group-thinking journos! Sincerely, A concerned current suscriber, Thomas Grant

Typos Every Where

I like not having a woke agenda shoved at me in every article I read, but unfortunately almost every article I read has a typo in it. Makes me wonder what type of quality paper we have here. One day in the last week the description of what was on the front page of an old Rocky Mountain News had nothing to do with any articles that were on the page. That should be a source of major embarrassment. There is also a paucity of high school sports coverage, which is another minus.

Tolerable app, downgraded from previous app because a features have been removed

Having used this version of the app for a while I am not changing the rating.

Issues include:
I regularly do something that brings up a dialog that I do not want (not even sure why it exists).

I also find that trying to get the page I am reading sized and centered on my iPad screen to be impossible with the app continuing to do things with the screen after I remove my fingers.

The biggest issue I have is that the app does not include the ability to download the day’s paper for offline reading as the previous app (with the white icon) did. I travel a fair amount and being able to download the paper and then sit on a bus, train, plain and read the news does not appear to be allowed.

Consistency in my email

Love the paper. Sometimes it comes up in my email, sometimes I have to go to app. Confusing

Love the Denver Gazette

As a native Coloradan,I remember the old days when Denver had both The Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. The competition between the two papers really allowed residents to receive a balanced account of the actual news in our community. Unfortunately, when the News went out of business, The Denver Post was the sole remaining newspaper. Overtime, I became convinced that The Denver Post had an agenda that that failed to accurately report the news of our community. The Gazette has really stepped into the vacuum and provided news that you can trust!

My thoughts for making a very good newspaper even better

Love your coverage presenting “All sides of the story”. As Paul Harvey said each day, “And now for the rest of the story”. You do just that.

I do wish your sports pages would dedicate some space to in season High School Sports. You neglect a very important segment that soon will be making choices where they view their news!!!! You could win back a few if you tried to find and meet their current interests!
