• Fixed an issue that caused the app to keep collecting background location data even after a workout had ended. • More bug fixes and improvements related to the hike recording feature. Major update: record your hikes! Use Rheaparks to record your hikes. Whether you’re walking on a trail featured in one of our 13 natural parks, or a stroll near your home, Rheaparks will always be helpful! * Open the app, choose a hike, tap "Start hike" and let Rheaparks guide you * The hike you’re about to do isn’t showcased in the app? No worries, you’ll also have a great experience. * Rheaparks records your route and displays the total distance along with the duration of your effort * Monitor your current altitude and the elevation gains and losses of the trail (iPhone 12 or better) * Background trail recording * A live activity is displayed on your lock screen and allows you to glance at useful data without even opening the app. Supports iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island. * Once the hike is completed, it’s saved in Apple Health and counts for your activity rings from the Fitness app * You can find history of your hikes in the Profile section, in Apple Health, or Apple Fitness * A new button allows you to display a satellite view in the map in addition to the default map This is the greatest update to Rheaparks and we’ve been working on it for quite some time! It’s a foundation on which we’ll expand the app by bringing a lot of new ideas. We hope that the app will be useful during your hikes and that you’ll spend some good time with it.

Rheaparks now features 3D Maps! • Enjoy 3D maps throughouht the app - for free • Simply tap the new "3D" button and drag the map from the bottom with two fingers to see the world in a new way • 3D maps are quite beautiful. But they are also handy to get a better grasp of the elevation, and thus to have a better understanding of the terrain. • We also reworked the maps in general and improved their stability. Thank you!

New : book stays! Rheaparks is there to help you organize your vacations. Where are we going? Where are the most beautiful hikes in the area? … But by the way, where are we sleeping!? The latest update answers this question. Discover a third tab "Stays" on the parks and natural reserve pages. You’ll find beds and breakfast, guest houses and apartments near the trails. • Set your departure and arrival date and get and a quote for the whole stay. • You may also fill in the number of adults and children, you’ll then only see properties that can host all of you! • By default you’ll see the best available properties, but you can also sort them by ascending and descending price. By booking a stay with the app, we receive a commission that helps us run the service. Thank you for using Rheaparks!

In this update: two new tools to help you find your next hike: FILTER and SORT! FILTER • Select exactly the hikes that match your preferences with the new "Filter" button when viewing a Park. • Take advantage of a vast array of filters such as: difficulty, rank, favorites, whether dogs are allowed or not, distance, duration, elevation… • Once all the filters are selected, the list of hikes will only feature hikes matching your filters! A few examples of useful filters : - An easy hike, but noteworthy! - A hike where I can bring my dog - A hike with less than 100m of elevation and that lasts no more than 3 hours SORT • In addition to filters, you can now choose in which order hikes are displayed! • All you have to do is to tap the "Sort" button when viewing a Park. • You can then order the hikes by: rank, difficulty, elevation, duration, distance and even alphabetically! • All of it in increasing and decreasing order. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS Fixed a few minor issues. By using one of these features or by combining them, it becomes very easy to find the perfect hike for you and your friends. Have a nice walk!
