Hi, happy to hear that you like our app! We will have an update coming out tomorrow, which will make the handwriting exercises much more comfortable to complete, while still ensuring correctness. We would love to hear what you think of the change, so feel free to write your thoughts, e.g., through our in-app support system. For the syncing of data between devices, then it is true that there is some lag between syncs. I have noted down that this could be an area of improvement. For the pinyin part, then we would very much like to hear which pinyin you found strange. Please feel free to write us in the in-app support system or at contact@dotlanguages.com. We would be very happy to hear about your experience 😊
Great potential, but no traditional characters

Hi, thank you for your interest in our app. We also think traditional character support is very important, which is why we added Chinese traditional characters in the most recent versions of our app. You can switch to traditional characters on the settings screen. Please let us know what you think if you try them out! We would be happy to hear what you think 😊
Great app overall, one minor annoyance
Thank you for this amazing app. I’m a university professor and a few of my students are studying Mandarin Chinese. I will recommend this to them.

Hi, thank you very much for the great review and very happy to hear that you like our app. We will have a new version of the app coming out tomorrow, where we have made the handwriting system less strict. We think we have now found a nice balance between correctness and being relaxed to different styles of writing, so we would love to hear what you think of the update! If you have any ideas for improvements in the future, then you are also very welcome to write us through our in-app support. We are always happy to hear your ideas 😊 For the time being we unfortunately don't have any plans of a Cantonese app, but will let you know if this changes!
