Not worth my peace of mind
I am an advanced player. When I play against “opponent” on line, I agree with the other comments: The online opponents are likely fake, or getting some kind of special hacks that allow them to get the exact numbers they need to get out of jail, or impound me. In several games I was in jail roll after roll after roll, even when there were 3 spaces open for me to get.

Screen freezes win you win in one player mode, Only way to clear the screen is to resign. Fix this bug.
DO NOT BOTHER
This game feels rigged. The number of doubles you get as opposed to your “online opponent” is laughable. You will also get loads of doubles when you have a piece out and you won’t be able to use it.
Dice rolls are not random
Algorithm to favour players with less coins or trailing in the game. Would avoid this

Nice to see a backgammon that isn’t incredibly lucky all the time!
Too many bugs
Great potential but this game never delivers. There have been bugs and glitches for a long time now and each update seems to bring its own problems. The last one seemed to lose all the players and there was no-one to play against for quite a while.
There is a long standing problem that towards the end of a match, the game will sometimes generate random moves that bear no relation to the dice thrown and usually involve extra counters. The game then freezes until it says the opponent has timed out. Whole match time wasted.

Ads plus non-random dice
I could almost deal with the ads before and after every round. If the game wasn’t rigged.
Played many games over the course of the past few days. Every time I would come close to winning, the computer would roll doubles. And then more doubles. I counted the number of doubles rolled in each game once I noticed it was happening, and the computer ran like a 3:1 ratio in its favor in rolling doubles.

V1.1.8 broke the game
Now it doesn’t even start games. Was good before, but it is completely unusable at this point.
So now you can play games. But the opponent moves do not match the dice. It’s completely random.
