Love This App!
So far, this app has been so fun! The hosts are very professional and interesting to listen to! For reference, I am currently practicing my French and have already picked up tips on how to use reflexive verbs and some French colloquialisms. The price is also fantastic! No, this app doesn’t have a free version (aside from the week trial that does require a credit card), but the pricing is extremely cheap. $12.99 USD for a year is unbeatable. Only complaint I have is that I miss out on live streams, but it is understandable as it seems the hosts from my target language are all based in Western Europe and I am in the US. Learning along with previous streams are still great and engaging, however! Will be supplementing my learning with this app from now on!Show lessWhyNotToPurchase101

I’ve tested SO many language learning apps et chatterbug is by far my favorite. Very affordable and great for people that don’t have a lot of time.noideapigs

I’ve been using this app to brush up my French and Spanish and it has quickly become a part of my routine. The instructors are fun and engaging and I love the layout of the app. I haven’t watched a stream live yet but I love that I can go back and watch them. The subscription is absolutely worth it. I haven't started the app because it doesn't have Russian and I really want to learn Russian. So could you guys try to add Russian? My Mom won't let me use the app because she wants me to learn Russian. But I saw Spanish which is another language I want to learn, but my mom doesn't like Spanish. I absolutely LOVE this app, but something that I think would make it even better is if we had the option to adjust the video playback speed like YouTube does and the option to have captions as well! Great content, great price
It is hard to believe that anyone would complain about the price on these reviews-this app costs less than a cup of coffee (no, not a Starbucks mocha-frappe-whatever, just a plain old cup of joe).
The content is fantastic and the opportunity to interact live with a native speaker is priceless.
I have been using duolingo for the past year to learn German, French, Spanish, as well as other languages, and this app is the perfect companion. It gets away from the monotony of questions and quizzes, and allows the user to immerse themselves in the language and gives some cultural insight, as well.
I really hope to see more languages offered in the future. It’s hard to find resources for studies on Swahili and Latin. Also, Japanese would be a wonderful addition. A+++ job on this app!!!Show lessKleokatt

I was a little sceptical about this app, but after having tried it for a few days, I think it’s a really brilliant addition to my language learning regimen.
The streams are high quality (so much that I did think they were pre-recorded, but they’re definitely live!), and the teachers are clear and charismatic. I also love how interactive the streams are. It’s not just someone talking to you, you get to ask and answer questions, chat with the speaker, etc. I have learned so much vocabulary just from a few short 10-15 min streams. I think this app is well worth the money, and I’ll be buying a subscription once my trial ends.
The only thing that prevents me from giving this the full 5* is the notification system. I think this could be improved. It seems like I get notified when random streams are about to begin, but not for every stream at my level. It would be good if I could ask the app to notify me when specific streams are about to start, or perhaps set it so that I am notified about every stream at a particular language level.
An easier way to view every single video available on the platform would also be useful.

Don’t waste your time on this app as soon as I login it asks me to subscribe. I don’t have money I am only in seventh grade. I was to learn Spanish before school starts, so I downloaded this app. I’m just gonna stick to Duolingo at least that app is free😞plhdgcfhbf
Great addition for learning a language!
Been using streams for a while now and I find it super useful in helping with my comprehension and listening skills. Interacting with the streamer and the community is really fun and the topics and themes are super varied. The content is also super fresh and new. I use it alongside Chatterbugs other 1:1 lesson product and its really helped me improve my German. Looking forward to seeing it be developed more in the future!Show lessTimmy Vexkiddy
