  • Men are not “the priesthood”

This agenda include the following phrase:

“…after which members of the priesthood will administer the sacrament.”

For decades, Church leaders have tried to eliminate the erroneous practice of referring to men as “the priesthood” or as “members of the priesthood”. This app’s language template only perpetuates this error.

The sacrament is administered to the body of the church by those who hold priesthood authority or who have been ordained to the priesthood. The priesthood is not a club of which only men can be members.

East fix Jared…the language should be the following:

“After which the sacrament will be administered”

App seems intuitive and easy to use, but not doctrinally sound.
  • Love it

We have been using a couple months now. Works without issues and easy to fill out. Love how easy it is to edit on the fly. This past Sunday we made a change to closing prayer while Bishop was handling closing and it appeared immediately. Suggestions: give us the ability to modify the conducting portion to fit our styles. We thank music folks after the meeting and not at the beginning as an example. Give us the ability to unpublished and archive bulletins for church history.

    Thank you! Hope it helps
  • Great App - Conducting Script Question

Is there a way to edit the conducting script. For example: the priesthood doesn’t bless/pass or administer the Sacrament, we use the phrasing “We will prepare to partake of the Sacrament by singing hymn number - Title, after which the brethren of the Aaronic Priesthood will bless and pass the Sacrament (optional: to the congregation)”

Once they are complete “Thank you for your reverence during the Sacrament, we’ll we’ll allow a moment so the brethren may sit with their families”

If it’s a Fast & Testimony meeting it becomes “we’ll allow a moment for the brethren and those on the stand to sit with their families” and the Bishopric remain on the stand.

I have not yet gone through all the options for scripting but it’s great. I’d wish to be able to alter the wording so that it’s using the preferred language that The Brethren have indicated we should use for the Priesthood not passing - but brethren or holders of the priesthood administer/pass the sacrament.

Thanks for building the easy to use system. Are other editors able to work collaboratively on unpublished partially complete programs as we decide who is doing what throughout the weeks? Or can they only make a New Program or edit a Published Program?

Thanks for any feedback to these comments. I appreciate all you do.
  • Great App

Great App. Overall great tool. I recently started having issues with not being able to scroll down on the share function of the app. Looks like it is a simple fix. Also is there a way to pull all announcements from previous weeks? Some announcements are posted for serval weeks and it would be nice to pull announcements from previous week(s) instead of retyping them each week.
  • Makes building a program easy

It would totally be 5⭐️ if I could figure out how to print it with the announcements visible. They show up online but do not print. Any help would be appreciated 👍

Hello! We made a fix in the latest version that should fix that issue. Try updating and trying again. Thank you!!
  • Awesome little app for conducting!

As a councilor in our ward’s bishopric, this app has been an awesome time and stress saver for all three of us who are conducting.

We’ve used it every Sunday since September 2021, replacing a google doc we’d create each week. We use the Sacrament and Fast & Testimony meeting templates most heavily, but the scripts for conducting, the ability to add editors, and several other features are immensely helpful and make conducting and preparing so much simpler and less stressful. We haven’t used the QR code feature yet, or pushed it more broadly to the Ward as our “Ward Bulletin,” but will likely start doing that this year.

The only issue I’ve noticed is with the callings, releases and sustaining's. When you have a bunch of sustainings (e.g. priesthood advancements at the start of the year), it lists them all individually with the script to sustain each one. It’d be better if you could group all of the “like” callings/sustainings/releases together with one “in favor?…opposed?” script.

Great job Jared, keep up the good work.

  • Can’t add my ward

I love the features but I can’t add my ward so I can’t use the QR code function.
  • Recently downloaded

Love the simplicity of the app and the flexibility. Unable to get the print function to work. Each time I try to print, the app returns to the share page instead of giving me a list of printers to choose from.

Our new release should fix the printing/sharing on iPads. Let me know if you're still having problems: support@wardbullet.com
