So I recently bought the Neabot Q11 robot vacuum and delivery was the same week of my purchase, the Q11 robot has been AMAZING. In my personal opinion, I think the Q11 punches way above its class and price point, this will EASILY outperform any Roomba (including their $1200 flagships) in terms of navigation. The Q11 navigated my 12 bedroom home in about 15 or so minutes where it would've took any Roomba an hour+.
I purchased this because I had a criteria in my mind that a robot vacuum needed to accomplish:
- Superb navigation.
- Good obstacle avoidance.
- Can vacuum and mop simultaneously.
- Isn't too harsh on my furniture.
And this seemed like it fit all that, the moping function isn't the best, it's literally just a motor that wets the cloth abs drags it around but honestly, I don't really care--I needed a good vacuum first and a mop second. The mop attachment will get any small grime particles and make the floor look a bit better but won't really get any stubborn stains. The vacuuming part is really good though and no issues there.
THE APP:
The app was a little disappointing because while it has a lot of good features, it's also a little buggy at the same time. Sometimes the app crashes or if you create a no-go zone, it'll just have an infinite loading loop and then you gotta close out of the app and try again.
I also wish it had "dark mode" or a setting theme called "system" to whatever appearance mode you have set IOS-wide.
Other than that, the app is pretty powerful and these are all things I'm willing to put up with for a unique robot vacuum that doesn't have its LiDAR mounted ontop of the unit like 99% of its competitors do. Not to mention that this will map your house faster than those as well.
All-and-all, it's a solid unit with a mediocre app (which may be improved with future updates).
Once you have it all set up though, you can have schedules and never have to open the app again.
Q11: 10/10
The app: 8/10.
