Hi! "greed is the root of all evil" - I agree, this software is in fact free; you can simply download my source code here and build it for iOS/Android/Windows all by yourself: https://github.com/stijnvdb88/Snap.Net. One small detail: in order to compile it for iOS you will need an Apple Developer account which is not free - try looking up the cost and perhaps then you will understand why the software is free, but the iOS app is not. Playback is stuttering badly. I read somewhere that the iOS time stamp is not accurate enough for synched playback.
I don’t really need playback in my phone so not really a problem for me.
All clients appear twice on my screen. Even old clients that are no longer on my network. This app needs a setup option to hide unused/unwanted/old/duplicate clients.Show lessCacheHunterBates

Does what it says and lets me control all my snapcast devices that have ever connected to your server and even allows group naming. Even the snapweb interface doesn’t have this many features!
Pressing play in the app connects as another snapcast client and can play background audio on my phone without fuss. Newly added support for dark mode and iOS media controls are working great.
I am even able to use this app via cellular + VPN to my home audio without skipping.
The only way this app could possibly improve further would the addition of a Mopidy/MPD client via in-app purchase.Show lessSnubber
