Amazingly good
I have played Mah Jongg on many apps… and Mahjong4Friends is simply the best. The app offers lots of guidance, which makes it perfect for beginners… but that guidance does not get in the way for experienced players. The Suggested Hands feature is great… I am looking forward to using Mahjong4Friends when the new card is issued in April. Great app!Didi02453

A friend introduced me to playing MahJongg but it was so complex that I had a hard time learning all the hands and rules. This app is such a great way to learn, become acquainted with the 2023 card, and get familiar with the rules by playing with bots. So far the ads have been unobtrusive. I highly recommend!Cat antics

“The Scrabble Addict” wrote a review on March 12 and I agree with it completely. I am new to Mah Jongg and was interested in playing after watching 3 out of 4 one hour classes online offered by AARP. I then attended 2 or 3 classes at a local center, but was constantly helping me choose which category and hand to pick. I then read a book from the library on how to play which recommended this app. I started playing on the app daily. This really helped me become more familiar with the card and the various hands. I love the offering of different choices when trying to decide which hand to play. The ladies at the Activity Center couldn’t believe how fast I learned how to play and bumped me up from the beginner’s class to the intermediate group after only 3 days! I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to learn the game.Devoted swimmer and sailor

I adore playing mahjong, and I rarely have friends around who are willing to play with me. This app totally fits the bill.
I love that I can switch it up to reflect the style of play I prefer (yay Chinese mahjong!) and that I can customize the tile tops. I’m also using it to learn how the scoring works, which was something completely nebulous to me before I started using the app.
Mad props to the developer, who was very responsive when I had a question. Definitely worth picking up and paying to remove the ads.PixeeGrrlee

I’m just now learning to play Mahjong and this has been absolutely fantastic!!! Great practice and teaching tool. I have learned so much by using the app. I have recommended it to my teacher to share with her students. I am now playing as often as I can play.lilmo7293

Great game
I have enjoyed this game. However there is now no way to silence the voice calling out the discarded tiles. That is very annoying to me. I was wrong. You can silence the game. I am now playing with my fiancée. We play when apart and when together.TXJJM

Hi, You can mute voices by clicking the settings icon in the top right corner and setting voice volume to 0, or by changing the voices to "No Voice" on the room screen.Great app! This has strengthened my learning the card:)
Though I am sure there is a lot I haven’t figured out about app, after playing over 1000 hands I can play in person much better now without looking at card as much!Bargainbrain
Great way to learn Mah Jongg!
I am a begnner Mah Jongg player. I have the national Mah Jongg League card for 2023 and this app supports that for free! It shows you sample hands for the tiles you have plus you are playing against 3 bots so you get to learn to watch what others arenlaying down too. Hughly recommend this app.Pat$er
Fun when fellow players aren’t available!
This has been a total black hole for me in a good way. Easy to play, easy to pick up where you left off, easy when no friends are available to play. Also not a buncha ads…not yet anyway.👍🏼KJSN7
