All ways on time clean cars polite drivers and fill safe in the car and all way get me to my destination on time in I would say there the best taxi company in derby

I have used Albatross for a number of years now and cannot fault them. They are always on time, their drivers are friendly and personable and the cars are always clean. An added bonus is they keep me informed of my cars progress and details about it….for example make, colour and registration. This is so useful when standing waiting outside a hospital or similar….you know your car when it arrives. Excellent company and service.

Shocking
I’ve been waiting for a refund for nearly 5 days, I got told I would be refunded on Monday the 29th and it’s now Wednesday the 2nd! So I rang yesterday and they said they will ring me back, I had no call. I rang again today and they said I have to ring back tomorrow! I understand that things might be delayed but it seems as though their putting off refunding me, it’s not even the trip I’m asking for a refund from, they took £5 out of my account for no reason and they said it must be a mistake! A few other people have said that they have took money out of their account for no reason also. If your using this service I would suggest paying by cash or card, don’t trust them with your bank details!

Works well but pricey
App works well as easy to order, taxi turned up on time, but paid 50% premium on preordered and prepaid taxi. Ride cost £21 as apposition to expected £14. Won’t be using again and price does not out weight additional cost.
Big mistake with Ub… you know the other lot
Went on that app for the other lot and got can’t pick up from your location - a huge social club. Went on Albatross app and job done. Next time first call - no question. Thanks for great service.
Poor service even worse prices
Very misleading prices on the app which always seems to add on a few pounds after you confirm the booking, they say they’ll refund the difference on journeys but I’ve never had one come through so I doubt that’s true. When booking they're always so slow, massive waits for taxis regardless of time of day. Would recommend other taxi companies over Albatross every day of the week

Misleading prices, delayed service
Someone had recommended it to me as it’s cheaper than Uber. I have been using albatross quite frequently. Not even once have I been charged the amount shown while booking. They even charge you while you wait at a red light. They mislead this way showing that it’s cheaper than Uber but always come out to be the same amount.
Drivers never ever reach in the time shown. Today I missed my train because of this. Not using their services again for sure.

Fantastic drivers, very poor app!!
I’ve been using the Albatrross app for years this resent update is appalling the map accuracy is very bad. I really like to pre-pay function but I don’t understand why you can only tip before or setup a standard tip??? Surely it would be better to have the functionality to tip AFTER the trip based on you’re experience.

Always very polite and pretty fast. Always wait for me to go into my front door before they leave which is fantastic with what the world is right now! Would definitely recommend them.
