  • TPLO surgery

Our 5 year old yellow lab would have never been able to get through this last week wearing a cone. The lick sleeve has been so easy to use and does not allow our dog to lick his incision area. I highly recommend purchasing. My only downfall is our dog is 84 pounds and we went with a xl & wished we would have gotten a large (up to 80#). The surgeon did recommend this to us & specifically said to go only with name brand - not a knock off.
  • Wonderful Resource

Daily support both before and after my pet’s surgery! Helpful, informative, specific to my pet’s needs. I had not heard of this app, but I was referred to it by my veterinary hospital. I’m very happy to highly recommend this resource.
  • Great App

I used the app after my dog had cruciate ligament surgery. The veterinary practice uses it to communicate with you - you can send photos of the healing process, you can ask questions and relay concerns to your vet via the app. It was very helpful as a guide to my pet’s recovery. I highly recommend it!

  • Wonderful App

I have had several dogs go through TPLO surgery and this last time I was introduced to this app. I thought I knew what I was to do during the recovery of my pup, but this app made it so easy to track and stay in contact with my vet. Highly recommend!

We love hearing the app helped you stay on track! Appreciate the review!
  • Excellent!!

Used their guide for my dog’s TTA knee surgery. I love that it’s a daily reminder, because TTA rehab is crucial to a healthy recovery, but rehab can be fatiguing to do for 8 weeks and you can forget in a busy life. The daily reminder really helped keep me on track as well as my dog is doing very well after following the protocol. We take it easy some days when she is sore, but try to follow the protocol with less reps or time those days.
  • Very Informative and Helpful App

This app provides clear, step by step instructions to help you care for your pet after a medical procedure. It also allows for a way to communicate with your veterinarian office directly. Knowing that you can refer to the app to answer questions as well as to be guided day by day through your pets recovery process helps reduce an owner’s stress.
  • Game Changer

Love this app! After my dogs surgery our vet gave us access and it made it very easy to stay on top of everything.
  • Inappropriate Flow and Umpractical

App should give an overview of the general care /steps after any surgery/procedure.. instead this app makes pet owners wait for a particular day to know what todo after that..
What you need as a pet owner is to understand general instructions and if you forget something then go to that point in time and refresh your memory..
Whoever created this app doesn’t have a clue about how a vet clinic works and what pet owners need and how they operate ..

We are sorry that the task flow felt inappropriate to you. When designing the application with veterinary practices from across the country they asked us to keep the recovery path in a day to day format that does not allow pet parent to "skip ahead". This would ensure that pet parents do not get overwhelmed. We also do provide the information you put in your comment "general care /steps after any surgery/procedure.." in our pre-surgery and surgery day task list. Please look to the "Expectations" tasks. We have been working on an update that will allow pet parents to see "Overviews" or their entire recovery path in our next update. Be sure to stay tuned. We also would like to hear more from you in order to make sure our update reaches your goals. please reach out to us at info@mypetpath.com.
  • It is the most frustrating app I have ever used

it was like using a Calendar app where you cannot look ahead. It did not allow you to look at the task until the day of the task. For example for pre-surgical you could only look at that day before and it said to bathe your dog. try getting a grooming appointment on the same day you find out you need it. I don’t have a clue what the concept is behind keeping you from finding out information about a medical procedure.

Thank you for the feedback! Sorry to hear that it was frustrating to not be able to look forward in the recovery path. Did you happen to search for your procedure in the search tab, or click on the resource in the tasks we post it? We designed the app to not allow users to "go ahead" based off feedback we were given by vets during our beta testing. With this feedback, we decided that for each surgery we will have resources in the 'Search' tab that answer the questions most people have when it comes to their pet's recovery. On our next update we will make sure this is fixed and users have access to all the tasks and summaries of the road ahead so you can feel confident as you help your pet recover.
  • So helpful!
