An essential tool

A truly essential tool for paramotor pilots, everyone in our local group uses it every single flight. Developed is constantly adding new features and responds quickly to user requests. One of my very favorite apps.

Email alert

Gaggle sent my wife an email alert to this morning saying I may need help. I had no problems flying. Wife freaked out. I’m deleting this trash app.

They recently hid the main features of the app behind a subscription tier system… They now charge you $60-80 annually for features that were originally included with the app.

Hi Jim, thank you for the review. We did not hide any features, you are still welcome to use the free version of Gaggle with the features that were always available on the free version. We also have a lower subscription plan made for pilots that just want some extra functionality when flying, this too did not change and has always remained the same.

This app is essential for anyone flying a powered paraglider. It is feature rich, always being improved, and reliable. We insist that all of our students use it, along with our alumni, and it has helped us locate someone that had a motor out in a field one evening that didn’t have communications. All of our instructors use this personally, along with our students, which helps us to track hours on our equipment, their equipment, and ensure everyone safety. Gaggle has our highest recommendation!

Absolutely love this app, the data it feeds you during flight is excellent! Had two aircraft I was struggling to find visually and gaggle gave me the exact location , distance, altitude, AWESOME

Maybe just one more add?

Love the app. Especially the incorporated (ads-b) warning. Was at abt 1300msl when saw a red airplane icon (2983msl) appear on the screen behind me moving perpendicular to my path behind me. No danger but good to see it was there (saw the traffic).

But maybe one add might be a small clock (the time in the air is noted, thk you) but it would be good to have a clock especially when flying close to sunset limits. That way you don’t have to swap out of gaggle to note the exact time.

Hi mth, thank you for reporting this issue! This is an issue occurring on older iOS versions, upgrading to iOS 15 should solve it. But we already have a fix for older versions implemented that will be released towards the end of the week. Please check again next week for an update! We are terribly sorry about the inconvenience this has caused!
