Bus don’t even work it’s always “full” mfs get paid to sit on their asses doing nothing
Not enough busses
Most of the time the app says they have all their seats filled and I end up waiting for at least an hour a simple solution is to hire more drivers.

Incredibly poorly designed, frequently just flat out doesn’t work. Occasionally I will book a bus, only for the app to not show me the bus, making it impossible to cancel or see when it’s coming. I also rely on the app to get to and from school and I can seldom get a bus even when its not peak hours. Hope the city ditches this.

Poorly implemented program, app is designed even worse
I have to allocate an additional 30 minutes to my commute to accommodate for the inevitable delays of the on demand buses arrival time. I have been using this program since its launch, and 90% of the busses I have requested have been at least 15 minutes late to picking me up. Drivers often take long breaks, unaccounted for in the app as it'll often show me that my bus is arriving in 5 minutes for 20 straight minutes. You can't even cancel at this point, as any cancellations after the 10-minute point are penalized, despite the arrival time consistently being unreliable.
They removed the one good feature of the app, the ability to see the time your bus will arrive at your destination before you've boarded it. It only gives you this information when first booking and after you've boarded the bus, to which point you're often shown an arrival time of over 30 minutes past what the app promised you.
At the very least, please re-instate this feature, as it is endlessly frustrating to have no ETA while waiting for the bus.
The app is often non-functional alongside this, forgetting you've booked a bus entirely and showing you the default screen when you are attempting to access important booking information.
It is honestly laughable that the app has somehow gotten worse far after it's launch, despite already being greatly flawed.

I received the service when I needed it the most; I was freezing & tired.
Convenient, not always reliable
The service is very convenient the only complaint I have had is that many times my bus has been rerouted back to a neighborhood it had left to pickup other people, adding 10-15mins onto the route. The buses should be picking up people along the existing route NOT backtracking. It makes the system unreliable for timing to get to work or appointments.

Just get actual busses
You’re never anywhere are you? I have to arrive a specific time if I want to make it home, to work or anywhere actually because if not it’ll either say “not in service”, “high demand” or just be late. When I book for a bus, it has to be an a HOUR in advance because bus drivers will either be at home or be at town centre for far too long. I understand breaks, but if that’s your excuse do not book me that bus because its gonna say 10 mins then take another 20. (Or worse I’ll book a bus that says 10 mins away and then 5 seconds later it says it’s here, it LEAVES before I have the time to get there.) At this point it’s useless just have actual busses if it’s gonna take that long and make service this bad. Another thing is that you can only go to one place!! I can’t even go to west edmonton mall I would have to take the on demand bus from my house to the transit centre closest to me.

the only reson i use this app is because theres absolutely no blue bus in my neighbourhood but theres no point in having on demand there either bevause i can never ever get a bus. and when i get that notification saying theres no busses available tell me why i see one sitting right there. im about to be late for a really important essay so im just gonna end it all

Waste of Taxpayer’s Money…
My place isn’t far from lrt station but city cancelled the route into the community so it would be either 10min walk to bus station or ondemand. I can live with it for most of time and I had to admit that I met with a lot awesome drivers. But the service had gone worse so much since Sept 2024 with obvious bug on app, one rude driver and complaints that goes to nowhere… when it put strict late/no show policy on passengers, there is no mutual thing at all when driver gets late… A ride I took weeks ago took unnecessary detour and was late by 10mins, I had to cancel/rebook. When the same vehicle arrived with only two other passengers to same destination as mine, it didn’t get on the search result… Driver refused to take on as name was not on his dashboard. I suggested to him to call dispatch on radio and see if I can be added on the ride as there were spots and was heading to my community but was refused again… Told me I had to call dispatch myself, then he just left not even waited for my call… same driver rejected a girl with mobility issues to get on from one bay just because her name was on a different bay 20m away… Filed complaint and nobody replied yet and the driver didn’t care at all… such a waste of taxpayer’s money…

This system is another way the edmonton government shows us they do not care. its is slow, trashy and behind like everything else in this city. vote srsly cause i cant take this any longer, something has to change quickly.
