  • Disappointing start

Just downloaded and taken the initial tests. Disappointed with the results that claim I have no hearing loss despite the fact I wearing hearing aids as a result of diagnosed hearing loss!
  • Is the App useful for those of us with hearing aids?

For those of us who wear hearing aids I am not sure how useful this App is. I don’t need to do tests that remind me that I suffer from hearing loss as that is why I see my audiologist. Furthermore my hearing aids make up for the deficiency for the loss I have in hearing high frequencies. What I need is listening exercises wearing my aids as opposed to using headphones, and the App is not designed for this.

  • High hopes

    So disappointed!
The app is poor. It asks you the same questions time again and gives you the same information which you read the first time. Very irritating.
The app says it improves your hearing. In barista there are only a limited number of choices and so it is easy to guess what each is as only need a small part of the sound to choose which one.
The pin seeker says you have missed the sound source when you know you are in it
The tones say the sounds are different when they sound the same even to able hearing people
I understand the science behind the app but don’t think the app delivers it at all well.
    Sorry to be negative

  • Useful App

As I’ve got older my hearing is not so sharp as it used to be. Main problem is hearing a conversation in a noisy environment. Among several other useful features, Eargym has several hearing training games that give you practice in listening to speakers against a background noise. Scores are kept to track your progress and mine seems to be improving. It’s useful and fun too

  • Left handed is harder?

Admittedly based on short trial but if you’re left handed you don’t spot the animal has changed. I guess it changes after so many attempts..
  • Updated app not working!

I would have given this app five stars but I’ve just updated it on my iPad and it’s refusing to open! What do you suggest please? I’m wondering whether to delete it and start again, but I’d like to keep a record of my progress on the games! I think they’re all good and I wanted to try out the new one, but that will have to wait. Oh, under discover-listen - I also like playing the gamma sounds before bed: they’re very relaxing!

  • Finally something engaging

Finally something fun for a teenager with Auditory Processing Disorder who has refused to engage with other ‘boring listening programs’ so far. Lovely graphics, interface clear and user friendly. Only 4* as game options are limited. Hope the developer has plan to expand offer to keep users motivated. The website has really useful information too. Great job!

  • Requires subscription to do anything on app

Almost $50 a year or $5 a month. Need to do that in order to get 7 day free trial. Not convinced, deleted app. No thanks!

  • Fun games and learnt a lot!!

I found out about hearing health as a concept through taking the war age test and I was shocked at my results! I started training and had a lot of fun with the games, they’re short and quite easy to fit into my daily routine. I also really liked scrolling through the discovery content and learning about hearing. Overall great!!

  • The immersive games 🫶

I love playing games, and all sort of brainy fun stuffs. But not only that I also love to be educational about the things I don’t know. And the most surprising part is I always thought i have fairly good hearing but after playing the games for a while and the level gets harder then I realise maybe I do really need to start train my hearing a bit often. On the top of that, I just really enjoy to use my brain in a more relaxed way and thanks for the app fits in all 🤗
