The app works
The app works on iPhone 12 pro with ios17.6.
However in order for it to work on WiFi you need to reduce the security on your network from wpa2-wpa3 to wpa2-wpa in the router.
Then when you plug the dehumidifier in hold down the button with the house on it for 3 seconds and the app should find your device. Then follow on screen prompts.
The problem is do your really want to reduce your WiFi security for a dehumidifier just so you can control it with your phone etc instead of getting up and doing it. Think about that.Show lesssal-2000

Very Cheap Device and App- Do Not Buy!
Tried to get this set up for my aunt to go on vacation. The app kept erroring on her phone (Android). Deleted app and reinstalled, didn’t work. Downloaded on my iPhone and it worked. I did a data update on the device and then the Android phone could connect. By the next morning the Android didn’t recognize the device. Now a week into it and the device is not able to be identified by my iPhone. Horrible app as it kept changing the temp that was set on “hold” mode. She woke up with the house being 60 when it was 10 below zero!Show lessluciffa
App does not work
In the beginning, the app worked great. For several months now it has not worked at all. The camera still works. The monitor it came with for use in the house works. The app does not.lilgreenfish

Better off using official Tuya Smart App instead of this ripoffquadsmode9

I’m attempting to connect an $80 undercabinet light with smart home capabilities and the app could not scan the product’s QR code and did not have it included in the app’s product set up directory. Bummer.mr.clyde
Setup messy, foreign language graphs
Setting up is not covered in user instruction. Kind-of guess work. Works ok once you get it right.
The history graphs use a foreign language, even with phones system settings saying English!FredNetNZ
