Money!!!
A very good game, which is probably worth £5.00. Unfortunately, unless you are prepared to regularly spend cash to heal your troops, you only get three minutes of gameplay every half hour. The further you progress, the worse it becomes, and I expect to delete the game out of frustration. It’s made more irritating by the fact this developer does market games with one off payments. I suspect the issue is a lack of depth, as with rapid healing, the games would be completed too quickly. 3/5Show lessGondibort

This is a great game. It really is. The sense of progression is consistent and satisfying. The art style is really nice and it is very easy to play.
My biggest complaint with the game is it is rather short. I made it to the final boss in about 3 days. When I first encountered the boss, I assumed defeating him would unlock an entirely new area, but instead it just resets the game when you beat him. It becomes sort of a “New Game +.” You get to keep your heroes and buildings, but the game resets otherwise, but with more powerful enemies. This really took the wind out of my sails for this game.
Other minor critiques would be that it would be really nice to have some sort of mini-map. Also, the fact that your heroes have to run all the way back to the castle, even if they’re not injured, before going out again is rather annoying. It would be nice if you had the option to send them to another destination directly from their current location.
Besides all that though, the game is definitely one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely still deserves 5 stars, but more content would be extremely welcome, and the few minor complaints I listed above aren’t enough to make me want to lower my rating.Show lessBT99887766

You get to build your base and upgrade but it doesn't push you too fast. Get your fighters and start clearing the surrounding areas and get a feel for the fighting and equipment for them. This game doesn't let you play too long at a time and limits how many ads they expose you to which I really appreciate. No forced ads. Best of all, it's not currently pvp so no one's gonna come by and wreck your progress just because they have the money to pay for a better build than you.
Take your starting fighters and see what you can build them into! I've played Vampire's Fall: Origins and this is the same artwork and game world, though not related as far as I've seen so far. Keep up the good work, devs!Show lessJediBaggins

Well done world. Reminds me of Baldur's Gate without the decision paralysis. Easy strategic choices. Skills are randomised, sometimes too random. I could agree with paying fragments to "re-skill". Switching gear between characters can be improved. Needs more mini quests for new heroes to catch up with levels. But, that could be part of the design. Safe houses or castles in other areas
Hello developers. It is has been more than a week of playing this game and played your previous game called Vampire Fall since last year. Still playing it for sometimes in my off days. This game is a good start and has plenty of room to develop. I know other reviewers said stuff I need to say, but I’ll say this. I think there should other castles in different parts of map in order to make heroes be near them in order to make the distance of the travel short. That is all I have to say. Great game!
I’ve become a little addicted to this game, it’s the last thing I do before bed and the first thing in the morning.
I’ve played literally hundreds of games on my phone and dozens of idle games, and whilst the only real idle function of the game is resource gathering (and character healing) I can’t stop playing this game. Characters you can hire have their own unique passives and there’s a decent selection of items to improve your characters as well as xp gains through combat and stat increases when levelling up. The game gets progressively harder as you play and some nice parts you have to think about before trying to make it more fun.
Each win is enjoyable and after a couple of weeks I completed the game, or so I thought, I was a little gutted when I beat the ‘boss’ but then you can start over, you keep all the stuff you’d really want to keep and the games harder with new enemy types.
I cant put my finger on what I love most about this game, it’s a solid. 8/9 across all aspects imo making it a really enjoyable escape from the real world.
There are in app purchases, more convenience and time saving and there’s no online aspects, I think the game would benefit from events but is fine without them, great job 👏Show lesstomtomy2k

One of the reviews I read was titled “better than you think” at first the game starts off quite slow, however after a day or two you can accomplish a lot more and actually spend some decent time in the game. Generally quite enjoyable and starting to make some decent progress. Upgrades come slowly but not too slow you lose interest I haven’t yet become stuck on things to do due to low power also just found out if your team fails the enemy keeps its damaged health for another goShow lessCobbie2890

This is a great little time sink, it's like a single player version of any city builder PvP games. One thing I'd like to see that other devs tend to do is have a purchasable(or added in to other iap) option to get ad rewards instantly. I don't mind supporting good game development. However, as a parent in his 30s with only spurts of time to play between adulting, it's tedious to sit through an ad to get rewards when I'd like to just pay a one time fee for those freebies.Show lessMoshgra

Actually this is my first review I’m writing I played quite few games and used tons of app, but never write anything, but this game is really good finally I find something I really like! It’s a great nostalgia play and I love what this game could be. Unfortunately the further you progress the less you actually play. It becomes more waiting for the party to heal or mining resources to upgrade. You can easily get by without spending money to buy upgrades but the loot and variety lacks. Forging costs more gold than it’s worth for low quality items that don’t sell for nearly as you much to forge. I enjoy the exploration and interesting yet simplistic combat system. This would be a lot more fun and a 5 star if there was a lot more to engage with or discover with more events to acquire more loot and resources.
