  • This game is amazing!

I don’t normally do reviews so I don’t think I’d have a lot to say, but this game is really great. The quality, controls are good and the levels were so fun that I barely didn’t want to use a lot of hints so I would play longer but some were too much for me. That’s pretty much all I have to say. Love the game, hope you would make more in the future and have a great life!

Thank you for your kind words and I wish the same for you! :)
  • Fun idea suffers from navigation

This is initially a fun app but the navigation controls are unforgiving in a game that needs split second responses as you progress. It’s no fun trying to dodge a fireball if the controls don’t respond quickly enough or often incorrectly send you in wrong direction.

As you get killed on a level you need to restart which is fine except that you then have to repeat the exact same arduous pattern to get to the point where you try again and usually fail. Could possibly be improved if the projectiles allowed a split second more to allow for the less than ideal controls. I have no issue dying when I make a mistake, but to repeatedly die due to control limitations is tiresome.

Thanks for your feedback. Did you try both swipe and DPAD controls?
  • Incredible level design and value

It boggles my mind that this game is $2.00. I can’t even do a load of laundry for that price. The level design is excellent and fair. You’re encouraged to experiment and the solutions are logical (with the _possible_ exception of when the shovel is used. But I’m not convinced it wasn’t my fault for not paying attention to the text.) This is well worth paying to have the ads removed and I look forward to more from this team.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I hope the game is not only cheaper than doing laundry but also more fun. :)
  • Amazing dungeon puzzler!

This is a labor of love, not a quick cash grab. I can see it in graphics, animations, puzzle design, and especially story. It shows.

    I totally enjoy it.
  • So much potential, such poor execution

It’s a fun little game for about 9 levels, then the ads start. Incessant ads between EVERY level. And the poor part is, you go back and forth between levels quite a bit, so it becomes 15 seconds of game play and one minute of ads. Boo to the developers.

But, even paying the $1.99 to go ads free doesn’t solve the biggest issue… basic navigation. It’s HORRIBLE! Other characters move twice as fast (or faster) while you plunk along at one block at a time. Even holding the direction doesn’t help with the movement issue. Then there is the issue of facing the right way to complete tasks. There is no control and you randomly turn every which way, usually resulting in failing a level and starting over. Even using the direction pad is clunky and presents a worse game experience. The precision required on certain levels justifies a smoother direction control.

The puzzles are fun but often times frustrating (see the issue with ads above).

Bottom line, get rid of the constant ads and fix the direction control and this would go from an OK game to a GREAT game.

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. I'm currently working on a sequel and at the same time trying to improve the firs part. Within the next weeks a major update is to be expected that fixes the controls and removes the ads when going upstairs. Removing more ads does not seem like an option becuase they really earn surprisingly little money.
  • Can’t get character to move faster

Just downloaded this game as it sounded like fun. The problem is, the character moves in such jerky motions, I can’t get her to move fast enough to avoid or get out of the way. I don’t need a game that makes me more frustrated trying to play it. If there is a fix for this, I’d appreciate knowing. The hints only tell you what to do next, not how.
  • Buy this game!

Best dungeon crawler I’ve played in years. The puzzles were intriguing, the gameplay was polished, and the mechanics were clever. Spend the $1.99 to drop the ads. It’s worth it. Can’t wait for this dev to make another game!
  • Wow

This game is very, very good. The story gets deeper and more exciting as you progress while the puzzles retain a good amount of difficulty without getting too easy or too hard.
  • This game is a rare gem

This game was absolutely awesome. It was so much fun. A game like this is rare on mobile. The ads were annoying but $1.99 to remove them was more than fair. Honestly I would have paid more because the game is just that good.

I was able to beat most levels without help but some of them were just to hard for me to figure out and I had to use hints. I wish that I would have not used any though because I wanted the game to last longer.

I hope you make a sequel or another game with a similar puzzle style. It was truly a rare gem.

Thank you so much for your kind words and your support. I'm working on epsiode 2 and I think it's gonna be awesome. :)
  • Only a single bug. Amazing Game

Level 58 when you push the Minotaur through the green portal that brings you back to the surface there’s a cutscene where if you go through the portal the Minotaur crushes a few elders and then the elders zap you. I love the cutscene but it won’t stop looping and you have to reload a save to restart the level.
