  • Computer players are very predictable

The players when playing offline will always, ALWAYS take a 4. They’ll replace a 5 with a 4 before replacing a 12 with a 5. They’ll replace an unknown card with a 4 instead of discarding and revealing the card. I’ve also seen it now where it will be last move of the game and the computer has an unmatched twelve and a card less than 12 is either drawn or on the discard pile. And they will not replace the 12 with it to reduce their points. It could be a 5 but nope! They only take 4 and they’d rather have 12 more points than between 5 and 11 more points. It’s so predictable that if you want to win 2 player, just take everything that’s not a 4 and the other player will always give it to you. The game needs some work but overall it’s fun to play. Coding seems far too simple though.
  • Negative comment

If you play the offline game on this app, the computer makes it so frustrating because the computer gets exactly what it needs every time. Don’t even get excited about a negative 5 if it actually lets you keep it because the computer will get exactly what it needs to make your negative 5 obsolete. It doesn’t even matter that you got one. It’s not even fun to play that way. I will only play people I know and the game in person because the app has made the game not fun. So predictable that you aren’t going to get anything that you need in order to have a chance at winning. (95% of the time)
  • Glitch with wheel and the cards

If you press the wheel super fast it cab let you spin many times. Also, if you didn’t know something annoying is when I accidentally close out the game. And I get back on it glitches and makes the games ruined and it wastes the in game currency. I know you might be working to chip at the grass to get all those pesky bugs off the grass but this is just if you didn’t know. Great game by the way I always play it with my family in real life and in the game! (:
  • Bots have impossible luck

We play the physical Play 9 card game at home quite a bit, so I have a feel for how the game is supposed to go and the probabilities involved. That being said, the computer players in this game have impossible luck. They usually start with their 2 cards lower than mine. In the rare cases they don’t, their first draw is ALWAYS a match, so they can zero out one of them. Whenever I try to push the pace to “stick” them with a bad card, they always draw or turn up a zero. I really enjoy Play 9 with real cards, but this app is a very poor version.

I understand that the devs tend to compensate for poor AI with an increased “luck” factor - you see it in pretty much every computer card game…but it is ramped to an absolutely ridiculous level here. I recommend getting the physical game and skipping this app.
  • Fun game, but….

Seems to me cards aren’t random, everything is pre planed who will win and who will lose. I win about every 4-5 games. When I win, it’s always by a large margin cause of awesome cards, and other times it’s larch numbers that never seem to match.
So after a while it just gets annoying and you don’t want to play.
  • Play Nine has become Play None!

This was a great game that my entire family loved playing. Since the newest upgrade they have removed the ability for daily coins. Now it is too difficult to play with friends as it costs a ticket and 500 coins just to play with family/friends. We already have to watch a ads to be able to play. This was a game that we enjoyed daily. I guess we will just use our physical card game that we paid for once and never need to give the company another dime again.

  • Advertisements will get you in trouble

I loved this game but the ads were fine until they were not. Ads i actually liked were in between games. Then there were ones in Asian script that i have had no teaching in. On those ads the usual X in a circle was completely absent. You truly have to take a “wild stab” at guessing (which is apparently what they are banking on- to put on bait-click cookies) how to exit out of the app.
I reported it to a general reporting of “app issues “ & magic the Asian script ads left - for a brief period. I started getting interesting ads & regardless - i wanted to play the game , I waited the 5 second allotted time before clicking the X.
After weeks of enjoying this game & learning to turn off the sound while in “meetings that would frown on gaming” one ad tonight made SOUND BREAKTHROUGH ring clear enough that anyone could hear despite my silenced phone! I immediately deleted the app upon this betrayal & I won’t play it anymore. Don't trust.
  • Unfair bots

I have played the game for months and can usually outwit the computer in a one on one game. In the last few days the computer has gotten almost every card it needs and gets 1-3 minus five cards in most hands. There are supposed to be only 4 minus 5 cards in the deck so getting so many makes no sense. Fix this or I will delete the game and stick with the physical play 9 card game! It has been months since I wrote the above and the computer still gets 1-3 minus 5’s in most hands. Do you take the reviews seriously or do you sit around and laugh at us. I think it is about time to delete and use the cards, at least I am not dependent on the mental midgets that programmed this game to frustrate players!

Hello Aced3x! Thank you for your feedback. We are working on fixing these issues. Our next build release will be even better!
  • Frozen

The game is really fun. 2&3 player mode on 8 hole seems to freeze often. Everyone walks away empty handed.

There should be a Golf Ranger mode when players quit, the others can play through instead of having to wait for the quitter’s clock to run out. Two missed timers and bot boots them off the course. Another suggestion, consider having slow and fast pace mode.
  • Doesn’t play like a real game!

I don’t need to win!!!BUT wish it played more like the real game which we play! I don’t know anyone who would pick up a low card and not replace the 12 that is showing especially at the beginning of the game. When that happens and they don’t replace their high cards it is guaranteed that they will get the match at some point during the game. This happens most of the time! Wish I could say that because it only true for the computer

Somehow Change the bot. There are plenty of other games that play better than this against a bot!

When playing against a person it definitely has a winner chosen at the beginning of the game!

    Developer Response

Hi there! Thanks for the feedback. One of the strategies in the game is to hold on to larger cards to more readily get the matches when people discard them. It's a good strategy but can end badly as well. Try it!
