Completely revamped the ‘Scan Item’ tab with faster barcode scanning and more scan modes, including scanning to increase, or decrease quantity. Preselect last location used on add item form. Show new quantity in popup message after consuming an item. When scanning to consume an item, added: location, expiration date, and quantity to the list of items to choose from, instead of only the item name. Added new setting to select the default chosen category on the add new item form. Added new setting to completely hide the default ‘none’ category on the Category List. The default ‘none’ category is shown last on the Category List instead of first. Also, many other internal updates for better user experience and performance.

Pantry Locations are finally here! This has been the most frequently requested feature by many of you. Pantry Locations allow you to organize your pantry items into separate pantries. You can add a Location for every area you store items, for example, “Basement Pantry”, “Garage”, “Downstairs Freezer”, “Kitchen Pantry”, etc.… The location list is available from the side menu, or the new icon above the Item List. Fixed intermittent crash on startup. Fixed a sync issue where adding a category may cause a sync to fail. The entire sync process has been updated to be more robust, including backing up local data before a sync, and doing most processing in the cloud instead of on the mobile device. Added a new "Sync Data with Cloud" button on the Cloud Service Status page (from the side menu) so you can manually do a sync with the server any time you want.
