Scam
This app lags and takes forever to load when getting the kayak out and also putting it back it. It circles for at least 2 minutes counting towards your time getting it back. Therefore going 1 second over even though it says two hours and didn’t go over. Then you get charged for the supposed free rental under the membership. Every time I have to deal with this app there is an issue. They make excuses via email. Because there is no other way to contact. It’s a joke.Show lesslinds52512

Misleading
What they offer is very misleading and it gets people to sign up for the membership. The machines do not let you cancel. You are immediately charged even if they are not taken out. We attempted to unlock the machines. After realizing I was instantly charged and shouldn’t have been (because it was supposed to be free with the membership) I never pulled them out. So you will get charged for kayaks that you do not use. The worst part is the customer service. They have no phone in case of any trouble shooting. New membership!
This is my second time using rent.fun. First time I had issues with the machine opening for the return. I was worried it would get stolen and I’d get charged. Since I sent report and photos and called support, I did not get charged and I saw it was still there next time I passed by. So someone fixed the malfunction.
Today, it’s end of summer and The water levels are low, it’s a slow Tuesday night and my city has 3 places to pick up and drop a kayak in the h2O. This is the best quality and affordable membership I’ve found for outdoor activities in Wichita, Ks.
The convenience of spur of the moment as long as there’s an available unit you can get right out there.
When traveling, I’m happy to see that I can travel to different cities and states and have access to the rentals as well! I’m looking forward to many days and hours on the water this next trip around the sun!Show lessiDabbleTravels

Membership not received
I went on the website and bought a seasonal unlimited rental for $75 and it was not honored. The part that was super upset about was when I contacted support through the email. Showed them my receipts. All they said was there’s no membership in that area. And would not reimburse or help me find a solution. So please be aware. It’s great when your there and you pay for a kayak for 2 hours. But I’m not keen on being charged for something I’m not receiving. So beware. I’m still reaching out through phone numbers. So if this gets fixed I would definitely give a 5 star but until I see it. Please stop misleading. Especially in a small community that is supporting your business. Nice way to rent a Kayak
The app is not too bad. It could have more informative directions. When returning the kayak make sure to press ‘unlock’ before ‘end rental’ or you get stuck staring another rental.Midwest6
App won’t let me sign up
The app gets stuck on the first setup screen. I entered my phone number and tapped submit and now I just see a loading icon that doesn’t go away (I tried waiting a few minutes). I tried restarting the app and retrying a few times to no avail. I was able to download the app with my current cell reception so I doubt it’s a connection issue (at least not on my end).Show lessProductivity seekerr
Would be nice if it worked
They owe me 20$. I opened the box, got the boat out, then the app froze. My kid had closed the door already but forgot the paddle inside. The only option was to end the rental. Ka-tching! 20 bucks for 9 minutes of frustration. At the end, when returning the boats, the “unlock” button didn’t come up anymore, and the only option was “end rental”, which doesn’t unlock the box. So I had to leave the boats next to the cage. Called the number listed, it goes to voicemail. Maybe they’ll call back, who knows?
