Automation Gone

With recent update, device automation is gone. We have 8 shades and have to operate them one at a time. It is incredibly annoying.

Automation Removed From App

With one of the most recent updates, the automation features have stopped functioning and disappeared. You can no longer bundle shades together in rooms and operate them as a group. It is a tad annoying that I need to select each individual blind to open or close. Also, timed automation is completely gone. I will increase rating when the automation portion of app is restored.

Took away features

This app is terrible. On the previous version you could at least group your shades, so in the morning I would only have to press one button to open the 3 shades in my bedroom. For some reason they removed that function, so it has become much more cumbersome to wait for each shade to connect and go through the steps for each one to open. Canโ€™t figure out why they would have removed that feature, it only makes the product worse.

Horrible customer experience

App was fine for the longest time. Then they updated the up and then most of the features no long work. You seek support and they donโ€™t even bother replying. Great concept but if the features you was looking for are going to go broke with updates and then you get no response that poor development and poor service.

Broken Automations

After the last update which changed the look, the automation buttons are no longer working.

Too expensive for such poor functionality

The shades are always off line so no automations are possible. These shades are annoying and I spend way too much time messing around with the app to simply open or close the blinds when I should have just gotten manual ones that would have saved me time. I do not recommend anyone get these until major improvement are made.

Since the recent update I no longer can hit the automation buttons I set up to be able to close all shades at once. I now need to close them individually which is annoying with so many shades. I also no longer have the ability to creat any type of automations โ€ฆ those options have entirely disappeared.

Gateway???

Like another reviewer said, the schedule feature (e.g. close blinds at 10am) fails with a generic error about a Gateway. What additional hardware/electronic device is needed to utilize scheduled opening and closing of the blinds? All of the FAQ responses in the app are too vague to be helpful. What is a gateway???

No Smart features??

Bought from Selectblinds.com and they did not include a physical remote. The app is fine, but does not allow scheduling without a gateway? However, there is no information on how to buy a gateway. No info on how to add physical remotes. Really disappointing, as we have several other shades from Selectblinds and these are totally different.

Poor customer service, smart functions donโ€™t work

You have to be really close to the blinds and theyโ€™re always offline. Bought these for the smart functionality but theyโ€™re completely manual. Tricked by selectblinds.com.
