  • Simple and Easy to use!

Upload a photo, enter a couple of simple details, throw on some tags and hit create! Very simple and colorful design! And I love the swop right swipe left option! Also, it works hand in hand for freelancers who use up work! As I can easily use posts made here as references for my up work portfolio, as well as gain inspiration for new work!

  • A great idea with lots of potential

I love the concept of this app! Such a great idea to connect foodies and I hope it continues to grow. My only feedback would be that I found it a little confusing to understand at first, and had a bit of a hard time navigating it. I think establishing a walkthrough tutorial which highlights the different parts of the app in real-time would be a great addition when the user opens the app for the first time. I saw a wide array of veggie dishes, but one suggestion I have is to add a veggie filter where only vegetarian or vegan foodies can connect. I’m a vegetarian, and it would be hard for me to connect to a meat-loving match and have a lot in common.

  • Amazing concept and cool app!!!

I love the thoughts and ideas put behind this app. I find it really cool that you can create posts/cards about different meals or dishes you have made or weird combos you have created. For me as someone who is interested in learning more about cooking and discovering more dishes to create, I think this app would be perfect to improve my techniques and find new recipes to make. I find it interesting how this app is a platform that is like a mix of Pinterest and Tinder. You can swipe right on other foodies and make cooking friends! I would highly recommend this app to anybody looking for new meals to cook! I have had such a great experience with this app!

  • Very cool App

Howudish is a really cool app for any foodie who’s trying to network or gather information from other foodies/food groups. As someone who owns their own foodstagram, I am regularly looking for ways to connect with other people passionate about food like me, and I think this is the perfect place to do that. The app is simple to use. Like anything new, it takes some time to adjust to the features and figure out how it works, but I was matching with other food posts and making my own in seriously no time at all. I would love to grow a platform on here with some more time and
dedication. I have an iPhone X, so I’m not sure if it was me or the app, but some of the features took some time to load. Longer than most apps. I would also like to be able to filter the kind of posts that I’m interesting in matching better! This may be a feature for a paid subscription? But, overall it’s a cool app and gives some good insight on where to eat and what people are cooking in their own homes.

  • Such a cool app!

As a foodie, I love sharing my photos and seeing others as well. Everything looks so good! I think the best part of this app is that you can post food pics, but also tips (food hacks) & recipes. The food hacks are great and can reach you something that you might have never known before. They also help encourage a healthy lifestyle. I will definitely keep using this app!

  • Love the idea, but it just needs tweaking.

First, let me say that I really like the idea behind this app. Some of my close friendships have been built off our relationship with food and the industry overall. That being said, this app is frustrating a lot of the times. Given the expectation that it is a social media app, I expect fluid transitions from one screen to another without any delays. Every time, I successfully created a new food snap, there was about a 3-5 second delay to go back to the main dashboard. Also, when creating a card (really like the idea of this being like a recipe card), I’d like to have the option to change my mind when I’m creating the card without going back to the previous screen to change it from a snap to a must-try.

I also realized that you can’t interact with anyone on the app unless you purchase one of the packages. This is fine, but maybe there should be a interaction limit before introducing the package? For instance, maybe you can get up to 5 free messages before you’re cut off with the intro of the price for the package so that people have more incentive to buy.

Lastly, I think it would be really cool if you’re able to tap on the some of the restaurant locations that people place on their cards. Overall, I’d like to reiterate that I do like the idea of the app and once improvements are made, I’d love to join the community and invite some friends too!

  • Extremely diverse

I was unsure of what food types the app would include and wether or not it would be inclusive to all diet types, however I was very pleased with what I found. I found foods from Mediterranean to Dominican within my first 5 minutes of exploring the app. I was able to find food substitutions for healthier eating habits and I even found a few new restaurants to try out. This app was an amazing find and something I will continue to use!

  • Great Concept

I think this app has a lot of potential! As a foodie, I think this is a really great idea to meet people who also like to be adventurous with their palate. I think it was relatively easy to understand, with a similar concept to a dating app to swipe right or left. I like the simplicity of that! However, I was on the app for a couple days and posted a handful of cards but never received any matches. I’m assuming this is due to the small number of people on the app so far. Therefore, it’s hard for me to judge the app when I can’t access one of the largest features yet. I think the app has a lot of potential though and I am excited to keep using it and see how it grows!
