  • Definitely worth downloading for all Foodies!

This app is creatively and aesthetically developed. I love the layout and the pop of colors in every landing page. I like the “food hacks” and “kitchen tricks” features — its very informative! I have just been using the app for at least a week now and I’m enjoying it. However, I wish there’d be more varied posts on my feed. I think once usage of app pickup, it would address that concern. Nonetheless, although I’m just a week in in using the app, I’m pretty sure I’d keep using it. It’s a refreshing break from all social media available out there.

  • Like Instagram for just food

The app is kind of like an Instagram just for food. Users share pictures of their food in different categories: food snaps, food hacks, must try and kitchen tricks. Overall it’s a good idea. Could use some more content or features. Maybe allow for links to get the recipes. A vast majority of the shares/posts are just pictures and you have no idea how to make it. Not very helpful. Also the swiping cards function is a little difficult to get the cards to move in a quick swipe. You have to be very deliberate in the swiping.

  • Intuitive and fun

I have been using the app for a few days now and I must say, it is an extremely creative and fun idea. I’ve seen a lot of food pics that I love and I actually wan to try and the tips and tricks shared are extremely useful for a foodie on the go who hardly has time for long meal preps and stuff.
The app itself, while intuitive needs a little work. The swipe option is slow and I have to swipe a couple times before I can get to the next pic. The yummm option is great but it would be cool if there was a save option so that I can go back to the tips I want to refer to in the future. Also, link to recipes would be great as well.

  • Fun app for and recipes

I’ve been using this app for a few days now and overall I’m very satisfied with what it gives you for essentially no immediate cost. I do think I’m missing out on some of the functionality because I’ve been uploading multiple cards a day with various tips and recipes and have yet to match with anyone. I can’t review parts of the app that I haven’t managed to get access to, and honestly I’m not entirely sure what even happens when you match with someone. But even without that functionality I like the homegrown recipe inspiration and I like the tips. I think the user interface is fairly intuitive,It borrows enough from other apps that I understood the swipe left or swipe right function. Making cards is similarly intuitive and I like that the process isn’t overly complicated. One feature that I would like - and if it exists I did not find on my own - is a way to potentially filter out people who you know would absolutely not be matches. As a vegetarian I would love to not even have to swipe know on various images of meat dishes. They’re not dishes I’m ever going to cook and I’m much more interested in connecting with people that I start out from the same base with.

  • Awesome App to connect with Foodies Near You!

I have a love and passion for all different types of foods. One of my favorite things is experiencing new foods and wanted someone to share this experience with. HowUDish allows me to like different dishes posted by fellow foodies and gives me a platform to connect and further explore our passion for foods. There hasn’t been a connection I didn’t love and the foods experienced from the app have been delish. Also, worst case scenario, you get to learn about great new recipes/styles of foods that locals are raving about. Looking forward to creating more cards and connecting with more Foodies in my area.

  • Amazing food experience

Omg, what a nice surprise with this app. First, the design of the app is super easy and fun, I feel I’m on Tinder for food, you just swipe to the right the card you liked and to the left the card you didn’t like, but if you are hungry be careful because the app has so many Yummy pics of food getting to you all the time. This app is a great way to connect with people who love the same food as you, also to check new “must try”, “food hacks”, “kitchen tricks”, and to share with people your ideas. What I mostly loved about this app is because I can connect with more vegetarian and vegan people around the world and try to make our lives easier.

  • Fun Food App For All!

HowUdish is great for all the foodies out there looking for new creations or inspiration. What’s very unique about this app is it brings a socialization aspect that I have never seen before in any other food/cooking apps.

The app does get a little glitchy at times. For example, I did notice when creating an account the system got quite glitchy when trying to enter in a birthdate. Additionally it got glitchy when swiping through photos. However, these are issues are easy to overcome as the overall interface is easy to maneuver and all actions are easily accessible.

I also thought it was a nice add to have cooking tips and hacks mixed in. As someone in the nutrition field I thoroughly enjoy this app and will be sharing it with this community!

  • Love the app!

HowUdish is a fun app to compare meals and recipes with , I really enjoyed seeing all of the different dishes on the app, as well as the kitchen tips. There was a lot of tips that I wasn’t aware of that I’m excited to try. The only downside I found was I did not have anyone in my area to match meals with, I’m sure soon when the app spreads around I will be able to. BUT I think this app has a ton of potential, you get to see meals you probably wouldn’t try, then you get excited to expand your normal diet to try these new meals.
I’m excited to keep using the app and seeing the new meals daily people are posting

  • Interesting and cool (but can be improved)

Now that I’ve been using HowUDish for a bit, I think there are some ways the app can improve. I like that there are four different topics and hashtags for specific uses. However, I feel like it’d be good for the app to have those easier to find if you’re looking for specific ideas or hashtags to follow. The overall app looks good in its design. Some of the text posts don’t look as good without a picture though. Maybe there are features they can add to spice up the design a little.

  • Highly Recommend for all food lovers

I love the app. It is very user friendly and unlike any other app on the market. This app allows you to socialize and connect with other local foodies. This is the perfect app if you love food and you are always on the market to try new ideas and recipes. There’s a feature on the app that I love that allows you to share food hacks with other foodies!
