Do not take this while lying down

Every time I check this lying down it shows again. Or if I do it sitting up and my hand moves up and down with my breathing it shows afib. Make sure when measuring that your arm is flat and that it doesn’t move whatso ever . I was measuring my radial pulse while checking this and my pulse was regular , however the app said I had afib. Super innaccurate. In additional it doesn’t differentiate between respiratory sinus arrhythmia and afib. Never use apps as a diagnosis. Always see a doctor.

Thank you for sharing your experience for the app. Please follow the guide for the measurement to avoid the effects of noise. this app makes it easy to capture the pulse waves in a timely manner, it cannot be used as a doctor's diagnosis.

Did not pick up tachycardia

Now the app isn’t designed to pick up Supraventricular tachycardia. However it should notice some sort of abnormality.
I did a scan, my heart rate was up around 143, and near the end of the scan it had dropped back to 70. The report I received stated everything was normal with low stress and an average heart rate of 93. That doesn’t sound normal.

Thank you for trying this app. If the results appear abnormal, please take more measurements to avoid the effects of interference. the app does not identify supraventricular tachycardia, but sinus tachycardia, and record the pulse waveform in time.

Useless

No idea how ratings have remained high. Did multiple readings consecutively, half put me in afib half didn’t. Turned out I was having PVCs and not in AFib. The HR monitor isn’t even accurate. Complete waste of money. Make sure you cancel subscription immediately through the “subscriptions” menu in settings as it is not a one time purchase.

Thank you for trying this app, please follow the instructions for use to measure and the app will truly record and analyze the pulse waveform in time. Also, there are some similarities between PVC and AFIB, so it is possible that the APP may be recognized as AFIB, the APP cannot represent the doctor's opinion.

This App works but there is little to no information describing the various metrics.
For instance: The AFib Check gives a stress score. What is this - stress on the heart muscle, psychological stress, something correlated with the measurement of the heart beat? A link to a website with some basic info would be useful.

Poor product

I was recently diagnosed with AFib. I went online to find a product that would help me identify when I was having AFib. The first time I used the app it identified AFib but it only allowed for the algorithm to be sent to the provider, not the EKG. Several months after the above mentioned AFib episode, I was in the ED being treated for AFib and connected to a cardiac monitor which identified AFib. Just for kicks I checked the app and it indicated “Normal “ rhythm! Are you kidding! I had 14 hours of AFib! I deleted the AFibCheck app!!

Questions

Is it possible to be in Afib one minute after the 60 Second test? then test 30 seconds to a minute later and not be in afib? Also the result said “your Heart rate is not normal possible afib please retest “ Is that afib? What does that mean? Or of it was 100% afib would it say something else?

Thanks for your feedback. The app doesn't detect afib in 30s mode, needs 60s mode for it. Atrial fibrillation is an occasional occurrence and does not always happen. The report is made by the APP based on pulse waveform analysis, and it is not a substitute for a doctor's recommendation. Sometimes afib may be detected due to the incorrect measurement method, so if afib is detected, E.g. moving the finger while measuring. please take several measurements and this pulse waveform data can be used as a reference.

Just wanted to ask it this app also detect ventucular tachycardia or not? And also what it means if all ppm points are at the bottom rather than the top. The app is genuine and is a good indicator about heart rate.

Thanks for your feedback. "what it means if all ppm points are at the bottom rather than the top" ，This is not a problem and will Not affect the measurement. This app realistically records and analyzes pulse waves.

Scam! Buyer Beware!

This app said I was having afib and should seek medical care…all while I was hooked up in the hospital to a real heart monitor. It also was off by 15 bpm compared to the heart monitor.

Not worth it!! Gives false info

I just had an ekg at my doctors office. After the nurse finished my test, left the room. I got my cellphone out and took my pulse on this app to check for A Fib. The app said I was in REGULAR rhythm. The Dr came in and told me I was still in A Fib. This app evidently is worthless!!!!
