    The experience from login to investment was seamless, and I was excited to see some up-and-coming companies I recognized (like Early Bird) available. Just $500 to get started as a Venture Capital investor? I’m in!
  • You’ll get charged without confirming

    It’s disgraceful that the reviews I’ve seen about this issue they reply that you get charged only if you hit confirm. BUT IT IS NOT THE CASE. I didn’t dispute anything because I was eventually going to invest in this but if you just want to go through the workflow know that your money will get taken out of your account without hitting confirm.

    Other than that I love the idea of enabling us to build the future. But the app itself needs lots of improvements

  • Great idea and good execution so far

    This is great idea and a unique opportunity for retail investors. I’d recommend looking into it. Love the app design as well, I have not used it much other than to set up the account or check my balance but I have not had any issues.
  • Early Promise

    The app is in its infancy and has some youthful glitches like the password reset issue. But the company is young, nimble and responsive. If VC is your next investment strategy, this educational app is a good bet.
  • Gateway to a new level of investing.

    App Store reviews often walk the line between app reviews and company reviews…ok, in reality there’s no line-walking, and this is no exception. 5 stars because what Sweater is creating here is industry leading and incredibly needed. The app is brand new and improving all the time. It’s not much more than a minimum viable product, but it gets the job done, and the job earns a 5-star rating.
  • Good, not great (yet)

    The app shows a helpful and straightforward account overview with some good but not overbearing featured content also available to view. Sign in can be a little clunky, with a few random sign outs where Face ID wouldn’t work and an error message that wasn’t very clear. Overall, login issues aside, the app has only made for a better experience with what I think is already a really cool concept.

    Great looking app and UI. Also had the same pw reset issues others have mentioned, but when I reached out via their support email, they responded quickly. But considering it’s a finance app, and being new, that does spook you a bit
  • Called me on the phone, and during business hours!

    Look I get it, you’re new and you’re hungry for subscribers so you’ve got this “core member” system going and you’re really hustling for users. Fine. Email me all you want. Don’t call me. You’re not an enterprise B2B vendor. You’re an app.

    It’s difficult to overstate how much I hate being called on the phone to be hustled. That gets your app deleted. Doing it during work hours gets you a one-star review. Please pass this along to whom ever in sales/marketing thought this was a good idea.

  • Great Concept, Poor Tech

    Love the idea and would love to be apart of this (as a client anyway), however I am unable to log in (haven’t been able to for a week), I get an error saying they are having issues and too try again later. And there is no support option (that I could find anyway) on their website or app (at least on the login screen). It’s a bummer too as I was looking forward to getting that founding member status.
  • Decent app but has some fundamental bugs

    The app has rich features and a great UI. Issue with password reset functionality though which has not been resolved. I also had difficulty reaching customer service for this as well.
