  • Fan of cbum

The Cbum Fitness App exceeded my expectations with its user-friendly interface, expert guidance from Chris Bumstead, customizable workouts, progress tracking, and nutritional support. It's a comprehensive fitness tool for all levels, and I highly recommend it.
  • Cbum the God

I’ve been working out the past 15 years with no regiment and I’d see myself getting bored and telling myself it’s time to go. This app switches up my workout routines and makes me stay committed to the gains. A lot of variety in these workouts and filled with volume exercises for peak primal performance. This app simply separates the Beta Boys from the Alpha men. #cbumarmy

  • New update has issues

So, there has recently been a new update for this app and although I have come to love this app I gotta say, this new update is NOT GOOD. A lot has changed and I’m all for change but not when the change brings issues. For example, I’ll begin the work out - The timer starts, I complete the first set, I input my the weight I lifted, boom, done it works but, when I try to input the weight for the others sets, the app won’t let me click to enter it. (That’s an issue). Second issue is the superset column. After completing the work out, I’ll try to proceed to the next work out and unfortunately the app won’t let me do so. I’ve completed the entire work out but the app did not document this as a completion. I don’t know why and it’s confusing. I know changes come with issues and maybe a few bugs but PLEASE fix these issues ASAP. I was beginning to enjoy this app and would love to continue using the app to monitor my progress. Com’on RAW. I’m counting on y’all!

  • New update kinda disappointing

I loved the app but the new update took away the rep range and sets as well as the information for doing drop sets or rest pause sets. Kinda a downgrade if you ask me. The point of paying for a program like this is to be given direction. At this point it’s just a list of exercises
  • I’m still feeling it out.

I like it, it’s pretty straight forward but I think it needs work. Not being able to use an app (that you pay for) because it needing internet/signal. Not cool. I go to random countries outside the US and sometimes I don’t have signal. It was a chore to try and get the workouts to come up when I was on a cruise, I had to dig into my internet minutes to screen shot the workouts and then turn off. Please update that, that would be helpful. It would also be helpful to have alternatives to certain workouts, even if you just caption it, in the notes. Sometimes you do but not a lot and not every gym is going to have the exact equipment that is shown in the performances done by CB. I think you could really expand on the app but the workouts are pretty solid though. I do have to get creative when I don’t exactly have the same equipment which is fine by me but for other people, I think it would help.

  • App Update

I updated the app on 15 May and I have a critical complaint:
If you navigate to historical workouts from the past couple of days the rep and set schemes no longer display. The problem is that now if you miss a day, you won’t be able to see the rep and set scheme from a previous workout in order to complete it. This is inconvenient and frustrating because now you cannot miss a day without the app removing critical information.

The functionality of this app was already limiting and this update only made it worse.

  • Auto Scroll issue

First of i love the app. i love how i can keep progress on my weight for certain workouts and i love variety of workouts as well.

the only issue i have been having is it autoscrolls when i’m done typing something in and can’t back to the top.
  • New update

Ever since the new update which at first I thought was cool. But after actually using it I realized made the app worse. It’s lagging so much and that needs to be fixed asap. It logged me out and I can’t even access the buttons to log back in.
  • Great app

Great app. Great update to improve interface. Only thing to make it better would be if the exercises showed what weight x reps you lifted last time
  • Finicky new Interface 1-17-23

I love the workout plan and the actual exercises feel really good and intentional. My only criticism is that the new layout is fairly difficult to navigate especially compared to previous updates. My gyms internet is fairly inconsistent so I really appreciated having the whole workout on one easy to read page; however, now I have a ton of control and need to input my reps and weight just to see the rest for one exercise. Personally I don’t like the new update all and wish there was an option to switch since it’s just too difficult and interactive.
