UTA On Demand makes it easier than ever to move around select zones in the greater Salt Lake City area — with a few taps, book a ride using the app and we’ll pair you with others headed your way. No detours, no delays. What we’re about: SHARED. Our algorithm matches people headed in the same direction. This means you’re getting the convenience and comfort of a private ride with the efficiency of a shared one. SUSTAINABLE. Sharing rides reduces the number of vehicles on the roads, bringing down congestion and CO2 emissions. With a couple of taps, you get to do your part to make your community a little bit greener and cleaner, every time you ride. AFFORDABLE An adult one-way fare is only $2.50, so grab your friends and take a ride! How does UTA On Demand work? UTA On Demand is an on-demand travel concept that takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Using the UTA On Demand app, input your address and we’ll match you with a vehicle going your way. We’ll pick you up on a nearby corner and drop you off within a short walk of your chosen destination. Loving your experience so far? Throw us a 5-star rating. You’ll have our eternal gratitude.

Reviews of UTA On Demand

  • No pickup and drop off time, no customer service number

I don’t know if it’s just my app but it’s sometimes taking away the ability to see eta for the drivers picking me up and me getting to my destination while I’m in route. I’ve restarted the app redownloaded and it’s still a problem. Drivers shouldn’t be allowed to have their phones out for personal use I tried to call my driver and he up me to voicemail when I finally got in he was on the phone talking to a friend. So he declined my call :-/
I am really mad your customer service number isn’t working anymore, I find it extremely frustrating to call a number for support and only get hung up on by a machine.
  • This app is completely unreliable

This app is completely garbage. Anytime I try to book someone it’s a 30-40 minute wait which wouldn’t be a problem if the drivers wouldn’t just sit in a parking lot or side of the road after a little and completely disregard me, making me completely and utterly late to everything. The drivers a rude, over packed, and useless. I wish I could give 0 stars.
  • Keeps deactivating my account

Overall, I like to app. The main issue that I have is I have two cards saved for payment. Sometimes I will select the one that doesn’t have enough funds on it on accident. When I do this, it deactivates my account and I have to call to get it activated again. It’s very time-consuming and frustrating.
