My son downloaded this to my phone to scan a document. It said free for first week then £5.49 per month after, we were on with that… 9 weeks later I have noticed after only using the app once they have been taking £9.99 a week from me and last week they took two payments for the same amount. They are now refusing to refund and saying I have to go through apple. Apple are saying because I requested the service I am not eligible. £100 down the drain for nothing! The app works well and everything, but they lack integrity and, for me, that’s worth a one star rating. They bait you by showing you a price of $0.99 but then I found a week later they charged $10 to my credit card. I don’t remember agreeing on this and I thought the $0.99 I paid before was going to be a one time payment. On top of that, when I try to cancel my subscription, it turns out you literally can’t cancel it from within the app. You have to do it from the Apple Store instead, which honestly makes for terrible user experience and it’s obvious they set it up that way to trick people into paying more and making it hard for them to cancel.Show lesscddr1

It’s very sneaky how they try to have you pay for basically all the features of the app once you’ve downloaded, taken the pictures of all your documents and then whamo! You must now pay in order to complete the last step… So close to having it all done yet so far away… Sneaky and dishonest IMO…Finn juniper Denaro

This application is advertised as Free image to text (OCR). This is not correct. They get you to upload images and scans. Agree to let them access your device and images, locations, etc… and then when you submit request you upgrade to premium to use the feature.

Incredibly painful to import photos!
Adding pics is fine, but then you need to manually rescale the crop box for EVERY SINGLE IMAGE. And it doesn’t scale with a simple drag like normal crop frames, you need to manually walk each corner or side to the edge of the page. There is no, “capture whole image” option, so if you skip this step or only scale the first page, you get a random portion of the other ones.
Then, safer all that painstaking work, you get to the export stage, and it demands money. Even in the “free trial”

This is sponsored when you google how to scan a document. I used the app thinking wow it’s easy but then they ask for money to save the pdf. Apple already gave us the ability to do this in our notes. You make a new note, click on the camera, then choose scan document. Scan it then you can share it as a note or hold your finger on the document and different ways to share will pop up. :)Show lessRain Nelson

I want to cancel this subscription and go to App Store. But of course I can’t find where to cancel it. I’m just not that tech savvy sometimes when I have other things like husband in renal failure on my mind.jenthepetnanny
