A company like the MatchGroup which claims to want to help bring people together to find love and companionship should not have hundreds of thousands of reviews about how people feel manipulated, taken advantage of, left heartbroken and extremely lonely and depressed due to sadistic permanent banning policies.
It is absolutely disgusting that this company has hundreds of thousands of reviews about people who feel hurt and manipulated by this company, yet this company just continues to ignore its customers requests and sentiment.
I ask anyone reading this to look at the BBB reviews for the Match Group, I ask you to do a Google search for “banned on Hinge” and most importantly I ask that you go to the website “www dot house dot gov” so you can write to your local members of congress to explain how this extremely unethical and sadistic company has been detrimental to your mental health and quality of life, due to this companies absolutely sadistic policies.

Intentional waste of time
Single parents are not on this site to spend time they don’t have chit chatting with people 100+ miles away. More often than not, they can’t relocate and their looking for somebody they can actually have in their lives through more than just the phone without being long distance, jumping through hoops, going to court or abandoning their kids. If it’s past the radius I set, it shouldn’t be the most abundant suggestions you offer. The fact that someone who is actually in my area or radius shows up so rarely is wild. Unless the whole point is to ensure nobody meets anyone close by or who aligns with them so they can continue to pay for an app that isn’t even serving its purpose. As a single parent, we have such little time for and to ourselves. The last thing I want or have time to do while hoping for my moneys worth is to swipe over and over and over just to even see a profile near me or my set radius. Don’t get me wrong, I believe there are subscribers who would be good matches because your algorithm allows them to show up once in a blue moon. The problem is the amount of app screen time and usage it takes to even come across them. Occasionally show people out of your radius is a whole lie.

A premium price for a vast selection of what appears to be similar individuals
It could very well be a reflection of my area. While the selection is extensive, it predominantly consists of individuals with a similar profile—like having the same shirt in different colors. The steep fee to view matches or communicate with them feels like a money grab. As parents, our lives revolve around our children, which is reflected in our profiles. We appreciate connecting on parent-related topics, but this focus leaves little room for sharing more about ourselves, our interests, and what else makes us unique. Our lives are centered around our children, but they are not the only thing that defines us. After all before we were parents we were individuals, every moment decided and dedicated to our womb fruit, it would nice to decide not only off how we raise our children but who we are besides parents. They’re feeding into the “we’re only just parents” which yes is a major component and base for our life’s our reasons to breathe, work and push through, selfless act but we aren’t just parents we are people

Stop deleting - Sour Match Group dating app no filters
They delete my review! Quit deleting my review. This app is just as bad as Match dating app if not worse. They do not have preference filters other than distance and age. You have to constantly sift through individuals who are majority of African American or Spanish. There is no way to set race preferences. They also have trans profiles. When I am a woman seeking a man; don’t show me men dressed up as women! Also most profiles are incomplete, inappropriate with photos that need to be reported such as privates, masks from Covid - Covid is over; fake users, or out of state. It doesn’t matter if you set your distance preferences to 40 miles they will still show you out of state profiles. This app isn’t worthy of paying a penny. Another garbage app brought to by Match Group. You spend more time “X”ing profiles than you do liking. Stop deleting my review! No woman wants to see di$$ pics.

If I could give them zero stars, that’s what they would get
This platform is a joke as well as all of matches platforms. They close my accounts because they said they can’t allow people who are under 18 to use their platforms yet I’m 46 years old and they’ve had no problem with me using it for the past year and all they do is have fake profiles and a bunch of men from areas like Ghana and Nigeria, pretending to be women to try in scam you out of money…….it’s a joke and they don’t even give you the opportunity to dispute it they just close it so take you platform full of fake profiles and scam artist and shove it where the sun don’t shine…..
But thank you for helping me realize that somebody needs to develop a platform that helps promote connections not putting them at risk to get ripped off or have their identity stolen. Your crappy platforms and your business practices are a thing of the past. It’s time for you to move over and and stop being the roadblock for people to find love, it’s not always about money.

Horrible app! They are still trying to bill me for a subscription and steal money after i did not renew it. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before downloading. I have no clue how an app like this could surpass 4 stars. Any good review is either FAKE or from years ago!! You have to pay a high price for subscription. You have to be subscribed to match or talk to anyone. Unattractive men. Tons of in app glitches. Complete waste of money. There are so many better dating platforms and you will find other parents on there as well as good quality people that will still be with you regardless if you have a kid. This app has one of the highest priced subscription rated and the lowest quality of technology. They have to nickel and dime people for so called “premium features” because people will be deleting shortly after and not for a good reason. I wish I could get a refund.

Awful
I literally had the app for one hour before they terminated my account. I got my profile information filled out, I scrolled through a few profiles and added a couple hearts to the ones I liked, and then I went to bed. I was on there for all of maybe 20 minutes. By the next morning when I woke up, I had been logged out, and when I tried to log back in, it wouldn’t let me even though the password was saved, so I hit forgot password, and when I tried to reset my password, it gave me a big red notice telling me that my account has been banned. For what being too ugly? Because I can’t think of anything else I did wrong. I didn’t even have an opportunity to speak to anyone or post more than one profile picture. when I contacted Customer Support, they said that based on their terms of use, they terminated my account because I violated them, but then did not tell me what term of you allegedly violated by signing up for the app and looking at a few peoples pictures and doing absolutely nothing else. don’t waste your time and dang sure don’t give these people your money, what. I’ll stick to the good old-fashioned in person.

Bad experience
I had install the app after getting the ad on instagram, after filing entire set of questions and comments I did sign up, later part of the day it logged me out and once I try to login, it says Stir has blocked my account. I did raise the ticket but they send me faq page and ask me to read all the reasons which can make the account deactivated , still waiting for the specific reason for them to deactivate my account, I don’t trust them with all my love and info that I put it out on app while signing up. I need to erase my data from there. It’s not right to barred me from my PI data.

They said to connect with the team , which is did and I have not received any reply, I don’t want to register again , what I need to remove my personal data from the app and provide me the confirmation, it’s very disconcerting and bad to know after I have put so much info I can’t control the access of it .
