Don’t connect on Iphone
Don’t connect! Reading the reviews seems like I will need a SC15 cable just I have bought the SC17. I am sick of it and I will just return the mic. Congrats on your horrible app!

I have owned every single iPhone, since the first one came out. This is by far… The absolute worst app I have ever had to misfortune of dealing with.

I’ve tried it on 4 separate devices… I’ve updated all the firmware on the mic units… still can’t communicate w the app. Horrible

Absolutely pathetic
Requires proprietary cable. Doesn’t work most of the time. The mac app isn’t updated for Mac OS Ventura. Rode- you can do better than this. Selling my entire kit because your system is unusable, unreliable and a joke. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Keeps telling me to update
I updated the firmware like it instructs me to but still won’t go past the first screen. Tried both on iPad and iPhone. Same result. App is broken.
Not Happy
I have tried multiple cables and different configurations all to know avail. There are many forums complaining that Rode don't have their act together and it really does feel frustrating wasting so Much time trying to connect my wireless go to pro to either my MacBook or iPhone properly. this is ridiculous 😡😡😡😡😡

Worthless app. Even after updating firmware does not work. It is time to fix these problems.
Keeps saying I need to update firmware
I haven't been able to use this app yet, because I can't get past the initial screen telling me to update my firmware from the Rode Central app on my computer. Both my receiver and transmitter are up to date. I even did a factory reset of the receiver, and the app still didn't work. (I do have that special cable, btw.)

I’m regretting all the time I spent searching for solutions on forums and buys new adapter cables to try connecting my Wireless Go II to this app…. Because it still won’t connect at all, even though the firmware is fully up-to-date.
Says I need a firmware upgrade on a pc or Mac
Rode central on the Mac says they are all up to the latest firmware? App is not issuable. Have been able to use it in the past with limited use but I need to adjust things in the field. I guess Rode has given up on the wireless go 2?

The problem most people are running into is finding a cable that works. The Go’s are really picky even about usb c charging cables. Mug cables should work but the ones I got don’t. There is a cable from Rode if you can find it. The easiest way, though, is to use the Apple lightening to usb (camera connection kit) adapter. Open the app, plug in, and then turn on the mic.
