Updated the firmware per instructions. The iOS Sustem recognised a device had been attached. But couldn’t connect as a microphone or as a Rode app recognised device. Clearly someone is failing to do basic app maintenance.
Meanwhile on the desktop Mac m1, Sonoma the system doesn’t recognise the device as a mic input, or does the app facilitate this.
So much for being IOS ready. Clearly the firmware fails to complete what ever handshakes are required for either mode of using the The rode Go II tx as a sound source via usb.
I can download files vi the desktop but that is about all that can be achieved. Ohh and I can check battery levels on the deaktop. But lol I get in the IOS Rode Central app is a Demand! that I connect a Rode device. Which is problematic when I have tried every possible button press, and usb-c cables at at my disposal. All of which are known good USB 3.x cables, (nd one Thunderbolt/ USB4 cable for good measure.
Basically my dream of using in conjunction with a camera app on my iPad has. Rumbled to ruins.
