Help
This works perfectly as intended. However, I lots of the instances are outdated and I can’t figure out how to add custom ones. In the app’s instance settings, there are only options to change from the provided preconfigured instances. Neither can I find anywhere to add custom instances in Settings>Apps>Safari>Extensions>PrivacyRedirect.

Redirects only work intermittently
I have my own setting for the Reddit re-direct and it only works some of the time. Other times it just stays on reddits website instead of performing the re-direct. Hopefully it can be updated?
Very much out of date, redirects do not function properly.
Please release some sort of update.
Shockingly Bad to Setup
The instructions are very simple- enable a few configuration then “Allow in every website”..
Then the horror realisation that the list contains what looks like 500 websites and all have to be clicked individually without any option for a group selection.
It is Tuesday night, I would have to keep
Clicking til Thursday lunchtime..
Fellaciously Shocking!

Great
I like the extension, though there is only one problem; the redirect only occurs when the page of the website (e.g reddit) is fully loaded, which does compromise privacy. This is the only thing stopping the extension from receiving a 5 star.
Great Extension
Works great. Simple and easy to use. Just turn on permissions for the sites you want to replace and presto. It’s nice having a developer stay on top of updating redirects. 👍
Doesn’t work anymore?
Just bought this recently and I’m on the latest iPhone 15 pro max and latest beta os. This doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Opens the original site before redirecting
Works mostly as advertised but I can often see the original website (e.g. YouTube) rendered before being redirected to the corresponding alternative (e.g. Invidious). That doesn’t seem very privacy friendly.
Everything works except twitter
It’s working great so far for every redirect except for twitter. I have tried multiple different instances and none of them work, it always goes to twitter instead
A very critical tool for privacy!
But, messed up by someone who has no clue how to code properly!
Even more interesting, the idea has been copied from someone else - although this developer has credited the original inventor on GitHub!
The extension inside Safari has probably a few hundreds lines which you must approve (ALLOW) one by one!
Deleted.
