The tags will have to be locked for them to function as an amiibo. There is no way around this. Sorry.

I got this app to try it out and bought the flashiibo and I love this app and don’t know why I haven’t tried this before. It is so easy and such an inexpensive way to keep the amiibo’s while also getting to use the affects. I would definitely recommend this app and the flashiibo to anyone and everyone willing to at least try. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this one deserves the credit.

I got scammed?
So I bought this flashiibo because it had a lot of good reviews saying “it’s worth it” “not a scam”works perfectly ” and when it arrived I tried it out at first it was alright but when I started using other amiibo for other games it didn’t let me register anymore. When I scanned an amiibo ive used before it say “no data found” or “amiibo not registered to the Nintendo” I was very disappointed with this purchase to be honest.
(The games I used amiibo on was Splatoon3, Zelda Breath of the Wild, and MarioKart Deluxe)
