Very cool and intuitive app
I’ve been here since the PlayGround days. Awesome stuff and love the customizability in this one.
Two things that I’ve come across day 1.
1) Please please please add an undo/redo button. That would shave off literally half of the setup time
2) When Xing out of the tutorial video, the app crashes… Every. Time.

OMG! Still no IAA or AUV3?
Yes, I check every other day or so to see if BeatSurfing 2 has updated to include IAA or AUV3 only to be disappointed. Why? Because I actually WANT to buy this app! But I can not justify spending $30 on an iOS app that is missing the most BASIC feature, that other iOS music apps, of lesser cost, have implemented on the first release.
Sorry y’all, but listen to the crowd: your next update needs to have either AUV3 or IAA (I recommend both). What you have here has a lot of amazing potential.Show lessSMKartiat
No AU or IAA is very limiting
This is a truly unique and customizable instrument/drum machine! At first glance it looks confusing but the tutorial vid is well thought out and gives insight on how to play it. After a minute or two it’s very addicting and I have so many ideas to incorporat this into my work…. BUT the lack of basic Audio Unit and IAA support on an Apple device keeps it on the shelf for me.Show lessxxCheckmatexx

People who have left negative reviews clearly don’t realize the power of this app or the roadmap of development because this is going to be the coolest drum sampler, performer, and rhythm synth you could ever ask for. Almost there
Would normally not rate an app I need to restart constantly with four stars but it also happens to be my favorite app to make beats on. Please fix whatever is causing the audio browser to lock up to what’s on screen rather than letting me scroll and I will update to five stars.Industrialminded

Seems like a fun app, but it’s a bummer that there’s no AUM support yet. After the latest update the app is crashing constantly. Can’t use it for more than a couple of minutes at the most.nuggernaut

Sorry for the crash issues you had in the past. We just put out a new update which adds AUv3 (therefor AUM support) and fixed a bunch of crashes. Please give it a try again and let us know how it goes. :)Just beginning BUT!
Hi I just started exploring and does seem fun, interesting and massive potential. Auv3 implementation is essential with all music apps currently. I would highly recommend you implement this asap. I really want to jam and record into a midi track in GarageBand or beatmaker3. And I would think others do too. The more I explore the more likely I’ll report back for reviews. Good app so far though 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼 Update. Seems to have lag tapping one shots. No timing issues playing the finger scroll but soon as you tap to make a beat it lags. Also sometimes not playing at all and have to re open map. Also are there more maps to download. Only a few and no way to see if any more?

Hello, we just added AUv3 support. I n terms of lag when tapping 1 shots, it could be the quantization feature. Remember individual instruments can have their own quantization amount (4-32) or be on the global settings or off. Check what your global is on at the top of the project next to the bpm, and check your instrument in questions setting, which is found on the left via a dropdown on the instrument panel. For example if i have a snare set to 4n, I wont be able to tap it fast as if on 32n Thanks and let us know how it goes!No IAA
I should have paid closer attention but i was all agog over the sale. No IAA or AUV3. Standalone only. Future improvements promised. I work primarily in AUM so for me this app is fairly useless until I can get it in my workflow. Still fun to play with and it can record but needs AUv3 to be kickass.Kurt52

I noticed that the microphone is being used, even when I am not on the app. It looks like you are recording us.
