I won’t hand over cash to remove ads when so many review say it just gets rid of the tiny banner ad and not the mind numbingly banal ads that break the enjoy of the puzzles… also how big is the game, does it have a life span that might justify payment…? The developers seem to imagine chess enthusiasts will continue with this app even with the endless, repetitive bait and hook advertisements for their other similarly funded products… The game play is fun, the developers are deluded. Their replies to user bring up the advertisement issue misses the point so often… the game can be the thing you sell… not temporary access to our eyeballs to advertisers… 🤮🤑🤮Show lessMediaVirus

Not bad, but not great
Biggest problem I have is that sometimes the solution requires the opponent to make a bad move. Most puzzles are fine, the moves you make are forcing moves and your opponent has no options. On a few of the levels (I don’t remember which of the early levels, except for level 62, which was the latest one I found), you have a way to get checkmate if the opponent makes a bad move, but your opponent has other options that don’t end in checkmate.
Second problem I have is that there are 30 second ads every 2 levels. Way too many ads; way too long of ads.Show lessLoramer1141

I don’t say this often but this game was exactly as advertised.
No fake advertisements, fun and easy. Each level can take as few as 5-10 minutes and is still a challenge.

I really enjoy solving these puzzles. It really helped me understand deflection and when to sacrifice men to gain position.
Sometimes, it is easy to solve because the puzzle tells me how many moves are needed the solve the puzzle. I think it would be helpful to have an option that does not disclose the number of moves needed to complete the puzzle. Perhaps each puzzle just says 5 or less moves are needed to solve it.
